this last saturday we were gonna be doing a boom episode 1 re-rewatch since it started airing legally in the uk. sadly we didn’t get to, but i asked for an art challenge anyway, and this is what happened (after a lot of distraction)

you see, i say with less adherence to grammar rules than usual for this blog, modern sonic is a good person and a worthy protagonist because according to the ending to sonic and the secret rings, sonic’s belief about sad goodbyes is ‘your sadness is a legitimate emotion and i don’t want you to bottle it all up, so please cry as much as you want to until you’ve gotten all the feelings out’

The guys running the Sonic social media accounts made little beach chairs out of cardboard and wire for their Sonic Boom toys so they could recreate the movie-watching from Hedgehog Day.

I am horrifically confused.

there’s a post on fictional character and animal puppet miss piggy in stereotypical cultural outfits running around on tumblr and i’m reminded that i actually made a similar, serious post in 2012 about mina mongoose, also a fictional character who is an animal, wearing a qipao

i do still have to ask the question of why the only character given a qipao in the entire pre-reboot comic was the one with yellow fur, though, considering they even had the entire generic east asia mishmash dragon kingdom
