From after work to late nights..

Located midway on Evo Road in new GRA, Beer Barn is arguably the most popular bar/ pub there is in Port Harcourt city. Open from 4pm every day of the week, this bar is popular with the working class  25-40 year age group. Most people you meet here usually stop in after work to take a beer or two along with some small chops before heading on home while the rest stay on late in the night, enjoying the good vibes and company.

From the moment you step in, photographs of the world’s greats in every sector adorn the walls from the entrance till you enter the sitting area . The familiar faces of Mariam Makeba, Bob Dylan, King Sunny Ade and Bob Marley speak as an indication of the eclectic blend of music that’s available here, different nights of the week. From the reggae to the blues (pun intended), a DJ that’s on top of his game is a constant to ensure you’re well entertained when the alcohol (or not) hits the system. Personally, I come here on Friday nights when I need new music in my car and ‘Shazam’ as many tracks as I can.
