I've been meaning to create a simple portrait of Harry in Daz, and have also been wanting to experiment with a more painterly approach to postwork. So here's that experiment.

So I looked up why and how this happened, and it turns out Weird Al hired a company called Birdhouse Skateboards to provide some “skate/punk” extras for the video. Birdhouse Skateboards is a company started by Tony Hawk, so not only did Weird Al end up putting Tony Hawk in his video without realizing it, he actually hired Tony Hawk’s company without realizing it! And then Tony Hawk just decided to go along as one of the extras himself.

BTW, he’d already won like 40 contests already, some of them international skateboarding contests. So it’s not like Weird Al cast some unknown skateboarder who ended up becoming World Famous Skateboarder, he was already well known and was running his own Skateboarding company.

I'm reading Fool Moon right now and just finished chapter 12 and Murphey just arrested Harry, and like does she know that when you're arresting someone you don't need to beat them up, it's not like he was fighting also she beat him up and then she read his rights, didn't even tell him he was being arrested 'till after she beat him.

And I feel like you're supposed to feel bad for her! Like oh no miscommunication has resulted in her getting the wrong impression and arresting him, but I don't care. Like sure Harry is a wizard and might fight back, but like I said earlier he didn't.

I heard she's one of the best characters in the series, but she didn't show up much last book and I am not getting the best impressions from her in this one. Like she's supposed to be one of the "good cops" but like she's just doing police brutality💀

Okay this is going to be random. But I need help recalling a author I read in the 90s. I can recall vaguely two books.

Book 1 an author under a pen name has a deadline to finish his book, I feel like he had some mystery in real life that inspired the book ended. At the end he faxed the last pages to his publisher and did a book reading in town.

Some other details a hot tube party with a girl he liked and I think bubble bath mess.

Book 2, teens/collage kids that are vampires a kid is recruited and to stop the killer vamps he and the girl he loves set up a trap to burn down the house. Killing them all including the vampire main character.

Book two I may have some less confidence about then book 1. I know I read so many of his books. If anyone knows this author let me know

When do the Dresden Files really get going? It's not Fool Moon.

However, the second installment is much better than Storm Front, the plot hauls ass as always, comes together beautifully in the end. There are four flavours of a werewolf in this one! Four!

Murphy hates Harry a lot, which is hard to watch, and everyone's least favourite sidekick squad, the Alphas, make their debut.

Great job everyone, hit the showers. 4/5

I’m running a DnD campaign with my siblings and mom, who are all big MythBusters fans, so obviously I made Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage NPCs. Adam is a human and Jamie (JAM13) is a robot. Adam claims to have built JAM13, and is not satisfied with his inability to emote properly, but is very satisfied with his walrus-like facial hair. JAM13, however, claims to have grown Adam from a test tube and named him after the biblical figure, and says he is “clearly a very primitive approximation of a human being.” Insight checks on who is lying are useless because both of them fully believe they’re telling the truth.
