Listen, I think the finale was AMAZING because of the April, May and June switcharoo where they were replaced by Webby on the 1987's show, but mashed into one on the reboot by then having Daisy adopt May and June.

But it'd have been even better if Daisy was one of Beakley's daughters so that Webby (April) stayed Beakley's granddaughter AND Daisy's niece, thus making May and June her nieces too at the end!! and everything comes together!!! theyy should've let me write the show

Also reminder that this is NOT a spin-off of DT17. I constantly see confusion around that so reminder that the DT17 pitch was never picked up in the first place. The fact that the concept art for this was leaked last year as well as well as other things had me really worried about it.

Also should mention the leaked "Duckie" pitch is unrelated to this one too.

But Tad seemed to be really excited for this one so I'm curious about it too.

Rambles

Idea based off something I wrote probably like two years back, mainly self indulgent again

I like to think sunrise was his least favourite time of day, because it meant his day ended, and additionally, highlighted his loneliness. While working through the night and taking down villains, he kept himself busy, but once the sun came up-so did everyone else.

In a way it's like the world had left him behind, while everyone progressed and grew, he stayed right where he was.

I like to imagine that on some mornings where he was held up, he'd see kids getting up for school and families saying goodbye to one another and he'd feel something deep down, something he was missing. Of course he never acknowledged it, it's better to keep things bottled up, but it's there. So he avoided the bright blue skies of the day, and avoided those reminders.
