Occurs April 9th near midnight
It had taken a hold of him like no other, the way that those words, the way that she had dared to accuse him of being so childish and simple as to immediately take to doing whatever he wanted if he so wished. While the Lich knew without a doubt, that he could, the chances of him implementing that, had always been slim. Perhaps that was the first string to be severed, the realization that no matter how many times he said such a thing, that it wasn’t believed.
He already had called for Minerva and the Seventh to be brought together, and glanced about the room for a lengthy moment. “Zo’kul! Ko’zul!” He bellowed, the hollow voice of the Lich bouncing through the air while he stalked through the wall of the chamber’s window and materialized through it. Pride could positively feel the rage coursing about him at the woman’s departure, ignoring the odd way his eyes widened and he had moved to stop her. It was too late.
For both of them.
His mind was elsewhere now, as he landed upon the grounds of the Stronghold, heading immediately for the courtyard and thus, the meeting hall. The noise of paws hitting the ground greeted his ears as he neared, sensing the ever loyal hounds coming to his sides while he ascended the stairs.
There was a crescendo of movement that echoed, the collected twenty-five Risen Knights saluting to the monster, his most blooded and loyal ones. At the front of them all stood his second, the only Knight who had fallen, and personally the Lich saw to bringing back. Her torment was not over, not with how closely tied it was to his own, and they accepted that. Moving to stand before them across the large table, both of Pride’s hounds lowered to sitting. “The orders are simple.” Lifting a hand, it was brought down upon the table, spying patches of frost caking the large map. “Take to the village. And kill everything. Wait for their precious saviors to come in, and remove their heads.. I want nothing to live.” Head jerking upwards, he stared at them, eyes strikingly red now.
“Am I clear?”
“YES!” Came the resounding cry.
