Celestial Seasonings Taste Test

I have to say I've tried a lot of Mint Tea's in my past and Celestial makes a great tea. This is perfect drink for a winter day and helped me through my cold. Yummm!!

Rimmel London Gentle Eye Make Up Remover

I recently received a bottle of Rimmel London Gentle Eye Make Up Remover from Influenster for testing purposes and i love it. I have tried other brands in the past and even tried making my own and this is by far my favorite. Just like it says it is gentle, unlike some brands this does not hurt if you accidentally get it in your rye. Also it doesn't leave your eyes feeling super oily which is key. I just apply a squeeze of it onto a cotton ball and it takes the makeup right off. I never need more than one cotton ball. Its great! I definitely recommend it and am happy to have found a brand that I will continue to purchase.

Boots No7 Protect & Perfect Serum

I recently received Boots No7 Protect & Perfect Serum for testing purposes and I love it. It goes on nice and smooth and keeps my face feeling young again. After only 2 weeks skin it makes your skin look younger and more radiant, and by 4 weeks skin looks clearer and fine lines are visibly reduced.

I recommend this product to all of my lady friends who are looking for a great moisturizer.

Tide to Go Pen

I recently received a Tide to Go pen free from Influenster for testing purposes and I love it! Not only does it work wonders (it gets out any stain, even ones that are set!) but it’s super convenient to carry around anywhere and everywhere! I just put it in my purse and off I go- no longer do I worry if something gets spilled on me since I can easily pull out the to-go-pen and it’s off erasing any “oops” that may have happened! This will definitely be handy for the wedding season! I think everyone should go out and get one now :)

Pure Silk Shave Cream

Coppertone CLEARLYSheer Sunscreen.. back again!

Hello again!

So it has been a few weeks now and I am still loving my Coppertone CLEARLYSheer Sunscreen that I got free from BzzAgent for testing purposes. We hit summer weather here in MN and boy it’s nice to have a long lasting, great quality sunscreen for these sunny days. By now I have handed out all my coupons to my friends and family and they too are reaping the benefits. I have even had them tell me how much they love it and are glad I introduced it to them. The sunscreen is so clean and fresh you don’t even feel like you are applying sunscreen, but instead your favorite lotion keeping your body silky and smooth. And the scent is so light, there is nothing about it that would make you think sunscreen (you all know what smell I am talking about!) Influenster VowVoxBox

I just received my second Influenster box in the mail and boy am I excited! This box is titled the “VowVoxBox” this is a wedding voxbox “For the brides, bridesmaids, mothers-of-the-bride, wedding guests, and wedding crashers..” This one is right up my alley since I will be in my sisters wedding this coming November! Yay! I can’t wait :) All of these products will come in super handy :) Anyways on to the product unveiling & review- Just to note I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. Influenster is a product review site that I definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys using social media to discuss and “Influence” people on everyday products. Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure: I love this, as soon as I opened the box I had to put on the fingernail polish! It’s called “Barracuda” a pretty eggshell blue, I don’t have any colors like this so that made it even better. Also this polish is part of Sally Hansen’s Complete Salon Manicure line so its a great quality polish, plus I like the unique precision brush.

Pure Silk Moisturizing Shave Cream: With dress season here no one wants to have hairy legs so this was a great addition to the box, the scent is Raspberry which is great, very fresh and fruity. This left my legs feeling extra smooth with its added aloe and moisturizers.

EcoTools Pure Complexion Sponge: I have never seen something like this so it was exciting to find something new in the box to try out for the first time. This is a eco-friendly face sponge handmade with 100% natural ingredients, including Konjac, which is a vegetable fiber  (which I had never heard of before but sounds super cool) This is great to use with your favorite facial cleanser/ makeup remover.

Tide to Go Pen: A person can never have enough of these, around the house, at work, in your purse, Tide to go pens are great for when you are in a pinch and have a stain, they remove pretty much any stains.

Olay Regenerist Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream: This is the "big bang" of the box! I have tried other Olay products in the past and they are such a great brand. The tone perfecting cream really excited me since I have noticed a few dark spots on my face recently so it will be great to use this to try and even out my skin tones a bit, it promises to even out skin tones in 8 weeks so I will have extra time to get ready for my sis’ wedding day :) Riley & Grey- Wedding Website: Finally there was a voucher for 50% off membership with Riley & Grey to create your own personalized wedding website. I went and checked out their websites and they have some really neat website options to choose from and look amazing. Its a great site to customize your own unique wedding website. Something I may look into when its my turn to get married ;)

All in all this was a very exciting box, full of a lot of great products that I will be sure to use. Thanks again Influenster for the amazing free product, keep ‘em coming :D

A few weeks ago I received a free box of Coppertone CLEARLYSheer Sunscreen compliments of BzzAgent.

This was a great box of product! Now with summer here, everyone is in need of a great sunscreen and I have no troubles promoting Coppertone sunscreen. ClearlySheer in particular is a great product, it goes on so smoothly and isn't oily like most sunscreens, it goes on very light and you don't have to worry about breakouts because of how light it is. Also it has a very nice light scent to it, not strongly scented like some other sunscreens.

Every time I go out the door I put on this sunscreen, and I always make sure to have a sample in my purse if I know that I am going to be spending more time outside. I also like to bring it along so I can share with others who forgot to apply sunscreen before they went out.

If you are in need of sunscreen for the summer, or interested in trying out a great product I definitely recommend you go out and buy this Coppertone ClearlySheer sunscreen.

Barkbox- April 2014

So i just realized I never reviewed my Barkbox from April (and May box is on its way soon!) So I best review :)

This was my first Barkbox. I've always wanted to do a monthly subscription service, especially Barkbox since I am a huge dog lover with my two little pups. Well, Groupon had a deal on Barkbox subscriptions (1mo, 3mo, and 6mo) so of course I had to go with the 6 months!

Obviously when I got it I was super excited, and sat on the floor with the pups for the big reveal.

The box included 5 items- 1 toy, 1 bone, 1 snack, and 2 packages of treats.

I received the following freebies this week in the mail, note it is only Tuesday so I am hoping for a few more this week :D

These were all individually sent.

Truvia- Natural Sweetner: This is a Calorie-Free Sweetener. This included two packets and a $2 off coupon. I usually do not use Zero Calorie sweetener because of the negativites but since this is natural I feel more comfortable using this sweetener.

Arm & Hammer- Truly Radiant: Whitening & Enamel Strengthening. This has great taste and I really like it, I am hoping to see some whitening action start happening :)

John Frieda- Luxurious Volume: This is for color treated hair, which is nice because I often color my hair and it seems to fade pretty quickly. Includes both a Shampoo, Conditioner, and $2 off coupon.

Garnier Fructis- Marvelous Oil: Garnier has 3 different blends: Dry, Damaged; Frizzy, Unruly; and Color Treated. I received the Dry, Damaged. I am excited to try this out because I have never done an oil treatment before and i have some split ends going on currently so this will be great. Also included is a $1 off Garnier Fructis treatment product coupon.

Sample Source freebies!

I recently received my first SampleSource sample pack in the mail! I believe they send out one box a quarter, first come, first serve. Their slogan is "try it before you buy it" although I do not believe any products they sent are really "new" on the shelves but oh well, I will always test products new or not :)

So this is a real variety pack, it includes the following, most also have a $1 coupon with it.

-two different Tums products ($1 off coupons on each pouch) which was great because sometimes I find myself with heartburn but hate the chalky texture of the usual Tums. One is a chewy and the other is a small breath mint type.

- a Breathe Right Strip sample (2 included and a coupon) I give these to Hieu since he sometimes has trouble breathing thru is nose.

- a really nice looking Colgate toothbrush, we recently got a Sonicare so I'm not sure when I'll use this maybe when Hieu and I are apart for an overnight and he has the Sonicare.

-some Garnier Fructis- Damage Eraser- samples- Shampoo, Conditioner, and Reconstruction Butter. This will be great since my hair could use some damage erasing

- my favorite- Eight O'Clock Dark Italian Espresso- I love trying new coffee's and lately I have been really into Dark coffee so this will be wonderful to try out yummm!

Mary Kay- Influenster Vox Box!

I just got my first Influenster box in the mail!! I was so excited and shocked to see the amount of product. I love makeup so this is right up my alley :) Plus its Mary Kay product so you know it is a great product.

Here is a picture of all the fun!

Now for the individual reviews- Mary Kay® Bronzing Powder I like my bronzers a little darker, but it is a really nice natural-looking bronzer. Definitley will continue using it, but will stick with my CG bronzer for future purchases.  Mary Kay® Translucent Loose Powder This powder has a nice light feel to it. It provided great coverage as a light finish for all over the face. I love that it reduces the oily look all day long. Something I would look into purchasing. Mary Kay® Mineral Cheek Color This blush is great for long wear, stays on all day. It a nice peachy color that adds a flushed look. Although it is nice I don’t think I would purchase it.  Mary Kay® Cream Eye Color in Apricot Twist This goes on smoothly, and the color is subtle but nice. It is long lasting and seems to be smudge proof. Im not sure if I would buy this color again, but would try out other MK Cream Eye Colors.  Mary Kay® Concealer Brush Very soft brush, great for creamy textures. Who doesn’t need more brushes :)  Mary Kay® Lash Love® Mascara Mascara is my all time favorite makeup product, so I was happy when I saw this included. This is such a great mascara, definitely at the top of my list for favorite Mascaras, it makes your lashes super long and doesn’t clump, something I will definitely will buy.  Mary Kay® Gel Eyeliner with Expandable Brush Applicator in Jet Black I’ve always wanted to try out gel eyeliner but just never did so when I saw this I was super excited. This goes on a lot easier than I was expecting and has long last that will stay all day without smudging (something Ive always had issues with). Something I would definitely buy this.  Mary Kay® NouriShine Plus® Lip Gloss in Mango Tango I am a sucker for Lip Gloss/ Lip Stick/ Chapstick..all that lip coverage so I loved this! The color is great its nice and bright, at first when I saw the bottle I thought “wow this is really bright” but after applying it really wasn’t as strong as the bottle made it look. Here are 2 different Tea samples I received a while back. I am a big fan of coffee and tea so I love when i find free samples online.

The top is Yogi Tea which has a bunch of different flavors to choose from when requesting your tea, I'm not much of a fruity tea fan, so i chose a Vanilla Spice and a Mint tea. The mint is delicious, and I haven't tried the Vanilla Spice yet but I'm sure it will be good.

Below that is Lipton Natural Energy- Refreshing Black Tea. This tea has more caffeine than your usual Tea. Sadly I'm not a fan of Black Tea so I wasn't a big fan of the flavor of this one.
