Hi, I saw some of your other matchups for tadc and decided to do this for myself! I will say very quickly that I'm not comfortable being paired with Jax.

Currently I'm questioning my sexuality and I'm okay with being paired with any character, my gender I'm also questioning right now but currently I use she/they! My personality is basically at first I'm very quiet maybe saying one or two things but when I open up to people I become very loud and make a lot of jokes, I try to be as kind as possible (like if I make a somewhat rude joke I almost immediately ask if it's okay after), can be very chaotic, very caring, and somewhat on the more sus side. The best way to describe my appearance is like with Ramona Flowers often I dye my hair new colors (though not as extreme with me waiting till it's faded or a few months later), I have a lot of freckles all over my body, I try to have a goth/emo look, and I have a few very small scars. I'm very creative writing fanfiction, drawing, and trying to make my own series, other then those I love learning about old fandom stuff and reading as well, I also really like learning about lore of different games but I'm not really a massive gamer, I also have a massive passion for theater! I'm an Aries as well and also have a lot of plushies that I sleep with every night!

For my partner I look for someone who can be there no matter what, someone to help remind me that I'm loved, someone who I can joke around with and just be there with. The love langue's I look for a partner are words of affirmation and physical touch, while the ones I myself have are words of affirmation and quality time. My fave date is something quiet like going to see a movie or going to eat out at a small hometown restaurant!

You and Gangle would be a great match! You're both compassionate and caring, and not to mention creative. It's really hard to sum down all my hobbies and interests in a simple list because there is just so much I enjoy-

I love drawing, dancing, working out, nature, and trying new things. My favorite color is green, and my favorite holiday is Christmas!

Although I'm an extremely social person I prioritize me time and when I'm out for too long I just get really mentally tired, so as for a date idea I'd like/what I look for in a partner I'd like to be able to spend a lot of personal time with the person, sure sometimes going out and doing daily tasks (shopping, taking pets out for a walk, ect.) But mainly spending a lot of personal time together!

A fun little fact about me is that I haven't eaten many types of food! For example I haven't had a hamburger, hot dogs, many types of soup! POMNI!!!

I think you and Pomni would be a great match! You're different in a lot of ways, which would be very comforting to Pomni, who is basically a little ball of anxiety, especially in the digital circus. She would definitely love your extroverted and protective nature and you would appreciate her being more toned-down and quiet to balance each other out!

She might be put off at first at you being hard-headed and sarcastic. By all means, Pomni is no ray of sunshine and can be a pretty stubborn person sometimes, but she's less intense about it. Plus, being an introvert means she probably wouldn't be as confident to talk to you as you are with her upon meeting. However, over time, when you grow closer she comes to love how talkative you are so you can fill the space when she's feeling not-so conversational (aka most of the time).

Also, I think she really needs a protective person in her life. She can handle her own but, yknow, being so anxious all the time can be a hindrance. She'd love how helpful you are whether its with something big (like finding an exit) or some small, daily task. And you're also really comforting to her whenever she's panicking or generally not feeling the best which, again, is most of the time!

You have so many hobbies it makes it easy for Pomni to get out of her shell and explore doing new things! A lot of your time together is spent doing things like drawing or dancing or just about anything that you think could be new and exciting. You'll probably have to drag Pomni along but don't worry, she loves it! Except after awhile, if she gets tired, she'll tell you lol...

But Pomni more so enjoys the alone time you spend together that's more quiet. She would love taking walks in nature (and if you're in the digital realm, walks around the lake and stuff) or just about anything domestic. Small tasks like shopping or cleaning probably helps calm her down anyway when she's feeling anxious and she especially loves spending time with you!

Pomni is a horrible cook and is likewise not that experimental with her food. So, she doesn't mind if your food palette isn't too diverse, but if you want to explore more options, she'll be right by your side! (Just don't expect her to prepare anything lest you want the whole kitchen burning down...) I expect she's tried more of a variety of foods than you, though, so she's glad to show you something new for once for whenever you want to experiment with food together!

And I do prefer to have a close caption to easily understand what are they saying. I also do (ASL) American Sign Language to communicate, but mostly I talk without signing language.

— I struggle to pronounce the words it depends on whether the words look hard or too long. I usually do spelling the words out of my mouth. And the funny thing, is I struggle to pronounce scissors... 😭

Hmm… funny, playful, and respectful? Caine is all of things and more! I think you and Caine would be a good match, seeing as he is a funny little AI who is eager to help with any and all your needs.

Okay, upon first meeting Caine, most of your relationship is him trying to get you out of your shell since you're socially anxious. This phase is pretty awkward since it's mostly him cracking jokes/doing bits you don't understand or laugh at. He's plenty outgoing (almost too much so) and probably manages to get you to open up more with him pretty fast!

Once you're more relaxed around him, Caine embraces your chaotic nature! As long as you're enthusiastic about participating in his adventures and games, he will match your playful energy. Also, he doesn't mind you getting confused, he will happily guide you through whatever it is you're clueless about. It is his role as ringmaster, after all!

Caine isn't used to idle hobbies like drawing or baking. (He much more prefers excitement!) But he will try for you when you’re in a relationship. He'll watch you draw or draw with you and even commentate, if you'd like! And if you bake him a cake? He'd be over the moon--literally!

He's more than accepting and willing to accommodate to your needs as a deaf person. If you ever need help or repeating, things like that, he will happily do so. He has his fun digital powers to make it so whatever he says to you is accompanied by closed captioning. This is a handy-dandy guide to traversing the Welcome Home Website, whether it's your first time or after a major update!

Disclaimer: This is updated with only the current information for what's on the website. Earlier stuff that has been taken down is not on this guide.

There are currently TEN (10) main pages on the Website. You'll want to go through them all before going through any subpages or secret pages. You can technically do this in any order you want but here's what I suggest:

Homepage > What's Welcome Home? > The Neighborhood > About > Media > Merchandise > The Playfellow Exhibition > Stickers > News > Guestbook

Afterwards, we can get into the subpages and all the nitty-gritty secrets! There are three types of subpages: 1) Y/W/X/O/V/E Pages, 2) Wally's Drawings, and 3) Bug Recordings.

Y/W/X/O/V/E Pages*: These are the only pages without clickable links anywhere. You get to these pages by scrambling the letters Y, W, X, O, V, E and adding them to the website link (ex. www.clownillustration.com/eovwxy). These letters come from places on the Website's main pages where it appears the letters "glitched" out of place. These pages don't have any specific order:

EOVWXY, YXWVOE (Duet), YWVOEV, VOYWEX, WOXYVE

*WARNING: After the latest update, the "glitched" letters seem to no longer be out of place (for the most part) and the page links now all end with the word "deleted." This might mean these pages will be deleted in the next update.

2. Wally's Drawings: Across the site, there are GIFs of doodles being made on the main pages. These are supposed to be Wally drawing on the website, kind of like the drawings he leaves in the guestbook, except these are clickable links to recordings of Wally's voice. These pages have an order:

3. Bug Recordings: Also across the site are GIFs of little bugs that are clickable links. All of the neighbor’s bios have a button underneath that says “Go back,” in colorful text. Except Wally’s button says “Goodbye,” in black text.

All of the neighbor’s bios are in past tense (“Julie was a rainbow monster”/”Eddie was a mail carrier”), aside from Wally’s which is in the present tense (“Wally is the most prominent character”).

Underneath Home, there is a black background with a white swirl on it. With every update, the swirl gets bigger. You can see this by double-clicking the map and opening the image in a new tab.

At the top of Sally's bio, there is text that says, "Reverse this image of Sally."

The Playfellow Exhibition

Staff Only

Staff Only is a secret page that can be accessed by clicking the word “answer” in the fourth paragraph below the image carousel in the phrase "I still have so many questions to answer..."

This leads to a page of an image of scribbled text, most notably the words, “CODE IS 5 CHARACTERS! WORKSHEET IS 5 QUESTIONS- KEY??” Clicking on the image leads to another image of a safe.

Clicking on the image leads to a Guest Area where you must enter a password. The password is ‘BSPJW’ based on the answers to the worksheet found in the image carousel on “The Playfellow Exhibition” page, aka Barnaby, Sally, Poppy, Julie, and Wally. The initials of the characters’ names from the answers are the 5 characters needed for the password.

This leads to the Staff Only page. The header reads, "The Playfellow Exhibition" and "Can you hear me?" written multiple times. Under that is text that says,

"I had a dream when I began working on the Playfellow Exhibition. Wally Darling was sitting at the foot of my bed with a rotary phone in front of him, ringing away. It looked just like the little toy phone we were restoring for the exhibit. It kept ringing. Wally stared at me like he was waiting for me to pick up the phone. Just staring, unblinking. The phone ringing and ringing. I couldn't move. I couldn't figure out how to move and pick up the phone. He kept waiting. I couldn't pick up the phone.

​"I keep getting phone calls, now. Or at least, I assume that's what's happening. I keep hearing it ringing. All day, sometimes. I check my phone and there's no new messages. I thought maybe some of the site staff were pranking me, but I tore up the workspace and couldn't find another phone that might be ringing. All that was there were the toys for the exhibit, and obviously those couldn't be ringing. But I kept hearing it anyway. The phone ringing and ringing.

​“The more I work, the more questions I have. Why didn't any of the site staff I worked with remember this show? Even the ones who grew up in the 70s? Why can't I find any files on the Playfellow Workshop? Why isn't there a single TV guide ad saying what network or time the show was on? I keep digging and digging. I've poured over every recovery the WHRP has given me access to, every inch of their website, and the things I find make less and less sense. If I didn't know better I'd say everyone was coming together to pull an elaborate prank on me. I can still hear the phone ringing now. ​I don't know how to answer the phone. ​I need to answer the phone."

Barnaby is the best dog around, he’s easy to get along with even as friends and is 100% supportive of you when you’re in a relationship. I can’t imagine a more loyal pooch! You two would be a great match!

Barnaby doesn’t mind that you have social anxiety—he finds it cute, actually! His best friend is super quiet too, so he’s used to it. It gives him more room to yap and yap and fill the silence… unless you want to talk, in which case, he’s happy to give you room in the conversation!

Most of Barnaby’s talking consists of jokes, though, whether it be puns or knock-knock jokes or what have you. You said you like physical attention? Barnaby’s got you covered! He’s always touching you some way or another, holding your hand or patting your head or wrapping his arms around your shoulder. No problem! If you do want to get into Welcome Home, the website can seem intimidating with how much has been added to it but try not to be disheartened! Take it at your own pace and discover things naturally, or look up a guide if that’s more your speed! (I’d personally recommend looking through the main pages first before clicking all the little drawings/bugs to help get an understanding of the project first.)

A little note about the above: Missing home/not having a home is heavily implied to be an upcoming theme in Welcome Home. Many of Home's denizens moved there from other places and are probably going to have a complicated relationship with the concept of home itself. Okay, I know Jax can be a lot to deal with but I am confident that you can do it. He probably softens up a little when he actually likes someone too, which may take awhile but he’ll slowly but surely grow into his infatuation with you. So I think you and Jax would be a good match!
