As a seasoned advertising creative, South African born Alexia Bregman has been entrusted with some of the world’s largest brands including IBM, Avis, AT&T, P&G, Lever Brothers, South African Breweries and Smithkline Beecham to name but a few. She has created successful, and often award winning campaigns for hotels, radio stations, food, headache pills, beer and more. Alexia has created online advertising, below-the-line promotions, TV and radio campaigns. Her career in advertising saw her rise to manage large teams, lead multi-million dollar accounts and win new business. Alexia has applied her entrepreneurial spirit to a triathlon race series, children’s toy company and a running apparel business. Since 2008 she and her husband have applied their combined experience to create Vuka Energy Drinks, now one of the leading natural energy drink brands in the US market.
Alexia’s philanthropic interests lean towards supporting children’s charities, and she has most recently worked as a CASA for Voices For Children and as the Chair of the Rancho Santa Fe Education Foundation where she steered a restructure of the 17-year-old organization. She has been a board member of the RSF Community Center and the RSF Education Foundation Endowment and currently sits on the board of Project Left Behind. Alexia is also a long time supporter of the Challenged Athlete’s Foundation where she is currently engaged in strategic fundraising development, and will run the 2016 New York Marathon as a guide for Achilles International.
In her spare time, when she’s not hanging out with her three kids, Alexia loves to run, surf, dance, cook, play piano and of all things, knit!
