I feel like there's this fucky White Feminism (TM) situation where people are like, "Yay! Finally! A female character in BNHA that is headstrong and brash!" without realizing that the reason other female characters don't have those traits is misogynistic ideals of femininity, and the reason the one brown lady gets them is misogynoir, because brown women don't get to be considered feminine by racists.
