#cat painting #acrylic painting #artists on tumblr #traditional art #something a little different this time!!#I hadn’t painted traditionally in about a decade when I started this #and never really with acrylics #they’re growing on me but I miss the softness of oils #it’s my menace of a cat who I have creatively named Kissa - the Finnish word for a cat #I love him dearly #I can definitely see things I’d like to improve but I’m proud of myself regardless #having a physical painting to touch and to look at feels very strange after so many years of digital art #also I got to spend some time with a dear friend #and had an excuse to get out of the house every now and then #a win win situation #started with a green background but just could not make it work at all #it made for the perfect underpainting though

Actually so obsessed with drawing right now. Feels insane to be drawing again after months spent avoiding it.
