Character number 007 - Arle (Aruru) Nadja from the Puyo Puyo and the Madou Monogatari game series. One of my favorite characters of all time is this wizard apprentice, Aruru and her pet/friend Carbunkle. I wanted to draw her for a long time, not just by making a few sketches or chibis, so here she is! The game series is one of my favorites too, due to the lore and references of myths and legends from around the world, but in an anime-esque style that's so cool!
Hope you like this!
3D Ballz or simply Ballz was an awful fighting game for the Sega Genesis//Megadrive and Super NES (also had a port on the 3DO); it had an original idea to render the characters as a combination of balls, which made the animations faster and smoother than using pixel sprites or digitized images.n and making the game look like it was a pseudo 3D looking to it, even for not so powerful videogame consoles. Although a very cool concept, the game was very-very bad. I liked it back in the day, it sure made the Genesis to run a faster "high quality" graphics game at that moment, but it really didn't surpass the aging very well. It is a really bad game, kinda boring and outdated. But again, I sure liked it back then. On a side note, the characters has a more humanized (or animalized) appearence featured in the japanese game manuals, some of them looked really cool and some others kinda menacing... Kronk was my favorite one, and also I liked the only female fighter, Divine (Miu Miu on the japanese version). I wanted to draw her a long time ago, so here we go. I also added the appearance as she looked in the game, but as a BG prop. Hope you like her!
Character number 006 - Kronk from Ballz (videogame). When I saw the "non-Ballz" versions of these characters in the japanese game manual, I wanted to draw the ones I used to play with. Last time I drew Divine, now it's Kronk's turn; the caveman was the character I used the most. I loved a couple of attacks he had, one that hits you with his club like a baseball bat, and another one that hits you like a golf swing. It's quite interesting how the skull he wears was converted into the Ballz version, using a couple of spheres. I always though he had some kind of "Garfield-esque" eyes on the top of his head xD Hope you like it!
365 Characters Challenge Character number 005 - Pepsiman
He's incredibly goofy, but I really like this character. I've never played the original game for PSOne, I should try it out. Of course, I'd like to buy one of the action figures that were released years ago, it would be great if they release a new Figma figure or something ;D
Hope you like it!
Let's continue the 365 Character Challenge! Fourth Character: Old Skool Latisha, from Toejam & Earl. Based on her look on the third game of the series, hope you like her! I'll surely draw her new Back in The Groove style soon
Last year I wanted to make a Character Challenge, drawing 365 character during 2018. Due to work and other obligations, I wasn't able to keep the pace, so I'm re-starting the Challenge now, by re-drawing the previous ones I made. This small goblin comes from an anime based on a novel. he can grant wishes that long until the end of the day. Always liked the design of this little fellow. Hope you like it!

Now with the dual-fire weapon. Hope you like it!

I started this one in May... but work and some other stuff kept me away from finishing it... UNTIL NOW!!! Captain Commando is a personal favorite of mine. Hope you like this one.
You've met a terrible fate, haven't you?" Happy Masks Salesman from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
This was an entry for a crowd-funding project that my friend Chona held back at the beginning of 2018; this was one of the rewards, as the image was used for printed posters. Here we have some of the Chona's, taking a homage of the eighties cartoon of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Chona's are characters created by him (and himself here, as Leonardo). The project was created to get the money for re-printing the Chona's comic books, and fortunately the campaign was a success! Glad that I was able to help him with some original artwork for the rewards. The Chona's characters are (C) Ignacio Pesquero Bordón.
Just like Spam and Yellow Velvet, this is an OC created by one of my friends for that Superhero-styled Facebook Group. This is my version of G-Rescuer that I drew as a gift for the creator's birthday. G-Rescuer is (C) Agustin G-man Dlf

I drew this Raphael when the new Rise of the TMNT was announced back on february of 2018. I actually don't like at all the new art style for the series, I don't know if I'm gonna enjoy such a Flash-style animation TV series, but anyway... TMNT are great, and I wanted to make a fanart of my favorite turtle. I drew this Raph trying to bring homage to an original drawing that Laird and Eastman did for the Raphael special issue were he meets Casey Jones and it was also drawn for merchandising in the eighties cartoon style I obviously didn't try to make it look in the Rise of the TMNT style, just a free style for the whole image. I hope at least the toy line is going to be great. the things that already out are kinda... lame. This was drawn in Clip Studio Paint.
George Liquor - American- is probably the insanest character in The Ren & Stimpy Show cartoon. A quicksketch I drew back in February, while I was working on the Underfail book. I still need practice with the head proportion, this one looks smaller than it should be.
This is a copy from a set of frames of animation done for The Ren & Stimpy Show by Kelly Armstrong, from Carbunkle Cartoons Studios. I've seen a reel of the animated segments done by her and Bob Jacques (her husband) for the classic two first seasons from The Ren & Stimpy Show, and I realised most of my favorite scenes and episodes were drawn and animated by Spümco and Carbunkle Studios teaming up. The influence this cartoons and mostly Kelly and Bob gave me since I was a child was incredible, and I'm still amazed by their work. This digital copy of the frames were taken from my personal favorite "Stimpy's Invention".
