AU Name: The Amazing Digital Crimson Maze system.
Este concepto lleva rondando en mi cabeza desde hace bastante tiempo. Al inicio lo imaginé junto a una amiga, con la idea de que Jax fuera el vampiro. Pero después de hacer algunos bocetos… algo no terminaba de encajar. Fue ahí cuando pensé: ¿y si cambio el enfoque? Y así nació la idea de Ragatha como vampiro, que curiosamente le daba mucho más peso a la historia.
No es un AU súper elaborado como otros que he hecho (tipo el victoriano o el del hospital psiquiátrico). Esta vez quise mantenerlo simple: sin demasiado drama, sin un trasfondo excesivamente complejo… es más bien un concepto en construcción. Tiene huecos, sí, pero justo eso lo hace interesante: todavía está creciendo.
El AU gira en torno a la erradicación de un virus que poco a poco ha ido corrompiendo el mundo digital. Todo el elenco tiene una misión clara: eliminar cada rastro de este. El origen del caos es Caíne, quien se encuentra en un castillo que funciona como un laberinto sin salida. Cada sección del lugar representa una prueba distinta… y cuanto más cerca estás de él, más cruel y difícil se vuelve todo.
Pero lo más interesante viene del sistema dañado de Caíne. Este fallo es lo que altera a los personajes, otorgándoles habilidades… aunque cada una viene con su propio castigo. Así es como surgen sus roles: no pueden elegir libremente, solo existen dos opciones—presa o depredador.
Jax es marcado como presa. Ragatha, como depredadora.
Y en medio de ese laberinto interminable, ambos terminan encontrándose por pura coincidencia… o quizás no tanto. Obligados a colaborar, no solo luchan por sobrevivir al entorno, sino también por no perder la cordura ante las constantes torturas del lugar.
This concept has been living in my head for quite a while. At first, I imagined it with a friend, with the idea of Jax being the vampire. But after making a few sketches… something just didn’t feel right. That’s when I thought: what if I shift the focus? And that’s how Ragatha as the vampire came to life—which, interestingly, gave the story much more weight.
This isn’t a highly elaborate AU like others I’ve done (like the Victorian one or the psychiatric hospital). This time, I wanted to keep things simple: not too much drama, not an overly complex backstory… it’s more of a concept in progress. It has its gaps, yes—but that’s part of what makes it interesting. It’s still growing.
The AU revolves around the eradication of a virus that has slowly been corrupting the digital world. The entire cast shares one main mission: to eliminate every trace of it. The source of this chaos is Caíne, who resides in a castle that acts as a labyrinth with no exit. Each section presents a different challenge… and the closer you get to him, the more cruel and difficult everything becomes.
But the most interesting part comes from Caíne’s damaged system. This malfunction is what alters the characters, granting them abilities… though each comes with its own price. That’s how their roles are defined: they can’t choose freely—there are only two options, prey or predator.
Jax is labeled as prey. Ragatha, as predator.
And within that endless labyrinth, the two end up crossing paths by pure coincidence… or maybe not. Forced to work together, they’re not only fighting to survive the environment, but also to keep their sanity intact against the constant torment of the place.
