This is my tumblr sketchblog (my primary blog is http://rockettiger.tumblr.com where I post reblog only randomness all the time). Even though I will post polished and finished artworks as well, this blog will contain mostly doodles, products of compulsive fangirlism, WIPs, and stuff that I don't want to put on dA or elsewhere. ^^ I will also post my UTAU videos and random covers as well. I will also post notices of updates of my webcomic The Dragon Messiah and maybe some WIPs of that too, but not sure.

I'm editing OoWindyoO/EmptyBlankAccount UST to fit it to GACKT version of Paranoid Doll, since I have the single CD with the HQ karaoke and all :3 And... it's actually just an excuse to use all those hnngghh breathing phonemes in Shinji's creamy bank sdlfkajrkglkl. I could marry his breath files oh God. I love this  bank, it's amazing and I like it better than the regular one (which I already liked a lot!)... I find him hard to mix though, at least on this karaoke that is awfully loud °-°; So have a WIP. Feedback is welcome.

UST made out of a VSQ by _Atty_ (mia-utau@soundcloud). The VSQ->UST conversion went horribly wrong anyway, and the original had metric problems at times... So there's a point in the middle where it goes slightly off time, or so I think, but I just couldn't bring myself to see if and how it needed any fix. Also, the tracks were painfully weird, probably because of the MIDI that Atty used in first place, main vocals and harmonies were placed in random tracks without any apparent logic, so it was odd to mix as well, had to use track automations and whatnot and it rarely happened before... Also certain parts... I'm not sure if they were meant to be sung that way... or to be sung at all ._. Final result is decent, I guess. :|

Time use to this blog of mine.

I made Arianna sing “Disillusion” with her VCV bank (still very WIP). The UST is by Stdokuro on YT, which I converted to VCV with plugins, but I made all the pitchbends from scratch and also corrected some mistakes in the lyrics (most of them probably derived from using a shitty romaji transliteration). Sadly it is only the TV-size version and I couldn’t find a better karaoke than the one included (which is the original with vocals partially removed, but they still can be heard). I’m not putting this on YT because

a) I’m practicing to draw super fast and ATM the results are pretty bad, so I prefer not to  (the above image was done in an hour, and I find it’s still too much time for the quality it has. I want to be fasterrrrr, FASTEERRR)

b) Youtube scares the crap out of me (I have no idea why). So expect me to use this blog for UTAU quickies more often in the future (and also, more rants).

Nooow~ Fun story time~ (?). When I first created Arianna’s design, I was just putting together things I thought were nice at random. I started with the fact that I wanted her hair orange and curly because I love it, and her hairstyle was pretty much a variation of the style I had at that time. I chose the rest of her color scheme from that site that gives you color schemes *idon’trememberthenameanymore*.

I went after a few designs and when I settled on her final one and I was so happy about it I suddenly realized that she looked like Saber AND Shirou at the same time. And in that very moment I wanted to bang my head on a wall because I had obviously been subconsciously influenced by Fate/stay night which I was obsessing over at that time (I am still obsessing over it, actually). The fact I had chosen that “Lion” was her character theme just added to it even more (I chose it for the hair, and a lioness is also my city symbol, I wasn’t realizing what I was doing lol). I became nervous and really wanted to change something, but everything in her design seemed in the right place, I just couldn’t change things I liked it too much already orz.

Eventually, I accepted her like she was. Someone told me not to worry, and that her design stands up well on her own, and I know but I can’t help but notice the way I got influenced without noticing. Every time I get compliments for her design I’m like “uh yeah… thankyouverymuch *tries to hide under the table*”.

And sometimes I look at her and I see something like this

“Hi I’m your daughter from the future.”

But ok XD I think I’ve made peace with this… sorta. XD; That’s why I made her sing this haha.

Ok boring long post is over. I don’t think I’ll post anything here tomorrow, so Happy New Year everyone. ^^

Hmmm her voice is very nice <3 It’s more mature than a lot of utau/vocaloid that I’ve heard, and has a tone that’s easy on the ears <3 Song is nice too, I’d like if I hear her more!

I actually like her design…. her clothing (what I can see of it) is cool….. while I’ll admit her bangs do kind of look like saber’s, I wouldn’t have noticed unless you said anything, and the hair in the back upsets the Saber look anyway. XD

As you can see there are elements of Archer's design as well and the white-blue from Shirou (plus haircolor, although it's lighter than Shirou's). Then I know the overall design stands on its own, and other people told me so too xD but sometimes I am still troubled when I look at her haha XD; It's mostly because I am disturbed that I did not notice I was being influenced so strongly while designing her XD

Thank you about the voice <3 I think most UTAUs have voicers in their teens, there are some mature ones, but most of those I heard have pretty deep voices. I am 28 so my voice is obviously mature, but but it's not deep at all so I guess it makes her sound a little different. I'm glad you find it nice. ^_^
