Extra work I did when I was sick.

I was sick for a week so I couldn’t go into school but I did do some extra work when I was at home.

I’ve been working on a collection of dolls. Each of them is only allowed you use one colour. I already finished white (see below) as I did her over the summer.

Currently all the dolls are decapitated and awaiting hair and clothes. There will be 10 dolls in total red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, brown, black and white.

Some have yarn hair and others have nylon. Pink, yellow, brown and purple have yarn.

I also wanted a range of body type in the group. So I’m using gen 3 monster high dolls as well as the cheaper gen 1 dolls. Hopefully the range in highs and weights will make them look like a group of real people.

These dolls are very inspired by @dollightful on YouTubes pink doll Sakura. (See below)

Hopefully my dolls can look as good as hers. She’s definitely been a major inspiration for me. My first doll was even an attempt to follow one of her tutorials lol.

Tekkonkinkreet (Taiyō Matsumoto ) Sighting

I noticed a mom and her son standing at JR Zeze station and saw her fantastic Tekkonkinkreet t-shirt, featuring a great front print of Shiro and Kuro. The t shirts are being sold online at excessively inflated prices. We had a brief conversation about various mangas created by Taiyo Matsumoto but our communication was limited by language barriers. We were all wearing smiles nonetheless. Despite language barriers, it's amazing how shared interests can unite people who are strangers.

They're called the LP's, because, well - its like I make a mixed tape. out of yarn. (Thats why the title card for these projects has a tape on top of it).
