True compassion and nuance is sometimes and often really fucking annoying and hard to do. And that's why it's hard. Compassion is as complex and difficult as people are. That's the point.
I should pin this
It has been 235 days since I said I should pin this. Only recently have I read through the reblogs of the OG post
I want to make this clear to all of those who see this post and those who follow me.
The right to live IS a HUMAN RIGHT.
People that say "I support this but I should be allowed to wish death on people I don't like" are those I don't support. That type of shit that every tyrant and dictator has said.
Since the dawn of time rulers and those with power to divide people and make lives harder have said things like "x group should die bc of this nonsense reason" or "this person needs to die because I don't like them bc of xyz."
those who believe that a right to live is not a human right that all deserve to have make me sick and I don't want you around me.
Article 3 of the Human Rights Declaration explicitly states:
"Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person."
Incase you were curious. ^-^
