Sam Levene - a lifelong Canadian comic fan

Sam Levene was the CBC producer who commissioned Michael Hirsh and Patrick Loubert's 1971 documentary on the Canadian Whites, with great enthusiasm because he remembered reading Nelvana and other comics when he was young. He is also one of our Nelvana of the Northern Lights funders, and came to see Lost Heroes when it screened.

He has been incredibly enthusiastic about both, and is even planning on coming to TCAF to show his support! Working on my projects, I hoped that I would be able to find the original fans of these comics, and this is the type of response that just makes the whole thing just perfect.

I am absolutely honoured that he is a fan of the project.
