i feel like the fact that they had to add some random dude in order to no homo this scene ultimately does nothing except underscore the presence of the homo. the sloppy addition of the second guy’s reflection just makes it clear that they were fully aware of how it would look if dean only saw cas’s bloody reflection and had a meltdown over what he did to cas alone.

it would look gay. and they knew that.
