Last Day Highlights Here we are: the fifth and last day of Begrade Behance Campus. We had a tight schedule today, ending with a crowded awards ceremony for the most shining stars across our workshops. Much has happened, and you can check out a full coverage if you keep scrolling. In a nutshell, today we honored the discipline of graphic design with workshops and a dynamic Spotlight presentation by prolific designers Braca Burazeri. To get a bit away from the haze, people could drop by the Nordeus Lounge and make the finished characters fight in the game made on-the-go. It has been an honor being with all of you in this journey! Be sure to read till the end to have your curiosity piqued about one feature of the upcoming 99u Local Belgrade (September 2015; be sure to apply for a spot).
Day 4 Highlights - Photography in Focus This fourth day was celebrated under the sign of photography. With a crowded workshop for photographers willing to learn how to best present their work, held by leading creatives in the field, and with a mesmerizing presentation by Misha Obradovic, Serbia's #1 fashion photographer. Of course, the guys at Nordeus stayed focus on the good work at their Lounge, their games coming to life under spectators' very eyes.
Day 3 Highlights This third day was... kinda dominated by the number 3. We had the third and last instalment of How to Make Portfolio workshop, under a stunning Nikola Vukasinovic. Then, three designer and three clients fought against time to make three logos in three hours. That's quite a lot of the "lucky number," isnt'it? What was first, this day, was the live game-making creative magic organized by Nordeus, Serbia's cutting-edge game developer. Did you know that Behance Portfolio Reviews are organised in more than 120 countries around the globe, with more than 1000 events held so far and 10 000 projects reviewed? This second day was really, really busy for us. And for good reason: the largest event is organised right here in Belgrade, Serbia, with 50 different programs, 500 participants, 1000 applications received and 1.500 visitors so far. Thanks to all of you, we are On Day 2, we had another portfolio workshop, held by COBA and powered by EIPIX, and then at night we presented *the thing* - the 99u Local Belgrade upcoming in September 2015.
Day One Highlights This year’s edition of the Belgrade Behance Campus @Mikser Festival is all about portfolios. The essential tool of creatives. Those fancy collections of paper or Web real estate that are often their first contact with prospective clients or employers. On this first day, June 3, a big takeaway was the benefit of Behance’s ProSite portfolio-building software, and how invaluable a *killer* portfolio generally is.
