I was just wondering how’d you structure your ideas into a pixelated format? I’m absolutely certain you have a background for the arts—your color matching and blending are crazy!

There’s these planters/flower beds you’ve uploaded, one with pink roses and the other with green shrubs, and I would love to make my own with a stone border!

You're too sweet, thank you! Well theres two answers to that first question, one being the more "ugh" which is I've practiced ALOT, but for the second one I have more useful tips if you're looking to make pixel art yourself. One is you can get photoshop (theres a link on the tumblr blog iniziare if you dont mind the pirates way) Because theres actually a filter on there that can be surprisingly helpful for getting a feel for pixel art, its called patchwork and it basically pixelizes the picture for you. It does NOT look good mind you, but it gets you a kind of idea of how to structure your reference if you're a beginner. Another thing you can do is look up cross stitch patterns, they are basically pixel art meant to be traced already so its a great starting point! As for my own background I've been painting and drawing for about 20 years give or take, did some artschool here and there but nothing longterm or special really, thank you so much for the compliments though aaa 🥰 I know the planters you mean, I would want to ask what you have in mind? Are you going to trace my designs and but just add a different border? I wouldn't mind but I could just make them for you myself seeing as how small they are and how I already have them finished, changing the border is no big undertaking. But if you're trying to learn I could also just teach you how to make your own if you're trying to get into pixel art. Its a very easy process once you know the steps. Either way you have my permission if you just want to trace them for your own use, I dont mind at all. 🎀
