Pulp Fiction is a 1994 American crime filmwritten and directed by Quentin Tarantino; it tells several stories of criminal Los Angeles. The film’s title refers to the pulp magazines and hardboiled crime novels popular during the mid-20th century, known for their graphic violence and punchydialogue.

Based on Stephen King’s 1982 novella The Body, Stand by Me tells the story of four boys in a small town in Oregon who go on a hike to find the dead body of a missing child.

The film follows a musician who begins receiving mysterious VHS tapes of him and his wife in their home, and who is suddenly convicted of murder, after which he inexplicably disappears and is replaced by a young mechanic leading a different life.
