still artblocked as hell (and sick!) but i'd been meaning to draw chuuya's outfit from this official art so here he is. haven't been this blocked in a while!! might just have to wait out the canadian winter like a potted plant (¬⤙¬ )

i'm home! i've been so crazy busy the last month that i've hardly drawn anything (´ ᵕ `˶) but i did finally finish this wip from over six months ago!

japan was super fun!! i made it my mission to find a copy of young ace while i was there which was surprisingly difficult since it the end of the month and nearly time for the dec issue, but i finally found it at a random bookstore in fukuoka (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶) bought some books, manga, pins, stuff like that. felt like a huge weeb but when else am i gonna buy that kinda stuff? we went to tokyo, did the museums and ginza/akihabara, then we went to hakata and kumamoto (stayed in a ryoukan with a private hot spring! and they put out a kotatsu for me which was lovely ♡ there was a 5.4 earthquake which was exciting but the locals didn't seem worried so i figured we'd be ok), then we went to osaka which was really fun! and the food was amazing ♡♡ but i got sick and had to spend two days watching tv in the apartment (◞‸ ◟) i wanted to visit yokohama harbour to take some ref pics for something i've been working on and it was ⟡ an experience ⟡ trying to explain to my mil that no, i couldn't just substitute fukuoka harbour, it had to be yokohama specifically. didn't end up having time, but there's always next time. overall it was an amazing trip, i will definitely be going back! all good things come to an end so i'm back home and hoping to beat the post-vacation-depression with some art time, we'll see how that goes.

forgot to post this after the new chapter ( °ヮ° ) i love her new outfit 1000% more than her old one!! the whole chapter was really fun; feels like the arc is finally starting to come together

in other news, i'm getting ready to go to japan in less than 2 weeks and having a friend come and stay starting monday so i've been pretty busy but i'm hoping to get back to normal in december ♡

my application to join the club of like 3 people who are drawing/writing M/F skk (≖⩊≖) dazai seems like a 'can dish it but not take it' kind of flirt so if chuuya turned it around on her after they reunited i don't think she'd be able to cope these drawings were arduous and they've been mostly finished for months while i just kept putting off posting them but i spent too much time to back out now. drawing jellies was fun though (¯³¯)♡

i'm a little later than usual with the panel redraw this month but oh boy i realllllly liked the new chapter! the aku/atsu dynamic is developing really nicely and i like how asagiri can showcase their similarities and differences back-to-back - it's just *chefs kiss*

i'm finally home from house sitting for two months so i'm able to draw more! i was going fucking crazy without my set-up but i did get a thing or two in the backlog that i can start posting now. gonna be travelling in the middle of october so i don't think i'll do a full inktober this year but i'll try and do some of the bsd prompts when i have time (*'▽'*)

they are like youtube compilations of confused puppies tilting their heads to me. they are like if a question mark was a guy. like even before the fuck off huge [redacted] shows up they are both just utterly flummoxed trying to prevent a completely mundane jet from taking off like they forgot that their abilities can cut through literally anything, up to and including TIME AND SPACE. they will die bewildered that a kilogram of steel isn't heavier than a kilogram of feathers. they have big yahoo answers energy.

[anyways, i am working on some things but they're just taking a while since i'm house sitting and also grief just like, slorps up all my creative energy and i don't wanna force it yet. we'll see how it goes. watched some anime lately with my wife and bsd is definitely still eating my brain but i might post some stuff from other fandoms, idk. i really like the apothecary diaries and the summer hikaru died and we just started jjk which i'm enjoying so far. ] gonna try finishing one of my thousand wips so hopefully something more substantial here soon!
