Abel Kipaso
Abel is one of the best international male models from Tanzania who is based in South Africa. He is not only my muse but also a very good friend and a dear brother. I am very lucky and humble to able to talk to him about his work as myself I am trying to break it through the modeling scene in Finland.

- First of all tell us how you were “discovered” and how your modeling career started:.. Got discovered in Mr.Tanzania next handsome man with Martin Kadinda, since then i started working with him as a freelance model until i came to Capetown and join Boss models cp
- What has been your Favorite shoot/ campaign/ work to date?:… Woolworths and Guess, they’re big brands so they keep my profile on 🔥
- How would you describe your personal style, where do you get your inspiration from?:… Street fashion styles, looking up for Don Benjamin (America’s next top model winner)
- Do you have any hidden talents?:… I’m a rapper lol 🤷🏾♂️
- Do you have to travel a lot for your work? If so what’s your favorite city that you have visited?:… Uhm not yet for now coz i was just in training here for how to work as international male model in SA but looking forward to it next year (traveling overseas)
- sometimes the modeling industry gets a bad rap with the jealousy and egos encountered between other models and agencies. Was this true for You? Have you managed to tough it out and make good friends?:…. Yea it happens sometimes but never happened to me coz i always keep it real to everyone
- Do you ever get shy in front of the Camera?:… haha many times, haswaa nikiwa nimebook shoot moja na bebez nazozipigiaga misele lol (not gonna translate this hahaha)
- is modeling an easy job or more strenuous than people realize? (How so):… not true, i can say is among of the hell tough jobs in the world but people say it’s easy coz they only see when pictures/videos are done but they have no idea how people worked for it
- five things you can’t live without:.. my phone, money, sex, exercise and family
- give us 5 facts about you people may not know:… I used to be painfully shy, I’ve been rejected twice in Swahili fashion week, I can’t play football to save my life, easy to like someone and very slow to get sleepy, used to be a badass dancer lol
- If you weren’t modeling, what would you see yourself doing?:… Basketball player
- Any plans for fashion week in Tanzania?:… Not this year
