i can completely believe that TNT would release jelly chia’s and have it a different color than the ones in the altador cup because that’s just the kinds of people TNT are.

one could argue that because

a) the jelly chias in the Altador cup are just a practice team and b) they are specifically stated to be from Jelly World

that the Chias within the cup are more like jelly given sentience, rather than chias who were formerly biological beings transformed into jelly. golems of sorts, built specifically to train teams for the cup. there’s not much evidence that i can provide for this, however, given how much of Jelly World is the same sort of yellow jelly that the Chias are made of, you can easily extrapolate that perhaps they were made from the same sort of material buildings are made of - like horrible wobbly gingerbread men from an equally wobbly gingerbread world.

additionally there’s been repeated evidence that Chias have some sort of innate tie to plant life and vegetation - perhaps because of this there is major differences between “born” (from jelly world) jelly Chias and “created” (via lab day, ffq) - there could be a conflict between artificial and natural and that affects the coloration of the chia

also isn’t like The Jelly Chia (like from the book of evil or w/e) blue? so it kinda makes sense for there to be multiple kinds of jelly especially with the above evidence
