Well hello hello! Welcome to our little hole in Hell!
This is a blog for aesthetics, stim posts, and similar sorts of things.
Run by a plural being. We're adults, profic, and enjoy dark and sexual content. As such, we ask that you be 18+ to follow!
We don't take requests, but if you'd like to drop an idea or two into the ask box, we may be inspired to do it. Don't expect us to do it, though.
Anyone can reblog our posts! If we don't like you, we will block you.
You will probably see uncomfortable content. We will do our best to tag things properly.
If you send hate we will laugh at you <3
FAQ under the cut
Do you take requests?
Like it says above, no we don't. If you wanna toss us an idea in the ask box, we might make something if we feel inspired. But this blog, ultimately, is for us, and what content we want.
How do you tag things?
We just use the word. No tw or cw within the tag, just the word of the content. For that reason we don't censor words either. We also reclaim slurs, and call ourselves queer. WE WON'T TAG QUEER AS A SLUR.
If something needs a tag, politely let us know. We don't know all the tags under the sun and generally keep it simple.
Why do you use plural instead of system?
Because big names in the system community have tried to silence us on multiple occasions for not fitting exactly into their definition of what a system is. We are getting comfortable with the term again, but plural and the plural community are more fitting.
How did your plurality form?
Not your business.
How many of you are there?
8! We won't really differentiate who is posting what unless the headmate in particular wants to. Host is always at the front with other headmates.
Pronouns?
Host uses all, all the others use he and/or they. They is a perfect default, though we won't be too particularly picky about it.
"[x y z] is problematic!!"
We are aware. We also don't give a shit. We like dark fictional content and are mentally ill. We know not to do bad shit in real life.
Also
Go to space.
"What is your stance on [x y z]?"
We think people should be treated as people. War and genocide are bad. People need to keep their hands to their fucking selves or consenting of age partners. Thought crimes don't exist (y'all forget humans all have dark thoughts occasionally). If you have any other questions on our stances feel free to ask? We generally avoid IRL content discourse wise.
Speaking of discourse, we won't do it here. Seriously, do your own research on stuff and make your mind up. You can ask about our opinions on things, but we won't promise an answer. We are here for pretty pictures man, not to argue with strangers on the internet.
Despite the tone, we don't mind people politely approaching us about stuff. We aren't perfect. But if you come in being rude or acting like a clown, we will respond in kind.
Other blogs?
Don't worry about it. If you can figure out our main, that's fine, have fun.
Anything else?
Again, feel free to send in asks to chitchat if you'd like or want clarification on something. So long as you are respectful we will be so in kind!
In re: to the discussion of regiffing (since there is some discussion on my feed!):
The 'regif' a video that someone else has already made gifs from is completely harmless, and tends to have positive effects from my perspective.
One thing creators of anything have to acknowledge is that you can't control who interacts with your creations when they have been put upon the internet, especially a public website like Tumblr. In a general sense, the sooner you come to terms with that, the sooner you can focus your energy on continuing to create the things you want. This applies to anything posted.
Can you provide boundaries? Yes! Can you block people you are uncomfortable with? Yes! You can do these things, have the right to do these things, and should do these things if you find it necessary. Curating your space is an important skill to learn and employ.
Hell, if it is something you really care about that can potentially fall under things such as copyright laws, you do have the right to pursue those legal matters.
But, in this scenario, we are talking about gifs created from other people's videos; sources found across the web. And, just like you have the right to make gifs from said videos, so does everyone else! The reasons why don't really matter in the end, but here is a list of some of them anyways:
- Someone already had the video saved to make gifs from, and you making gifs from the same video didn't have any influence on them deciding to make their own.
- Someone wanted gifs from a different section from the video.
- Someone wanted the gifs to be grabbed/edited differently.
- Someone wanted to respect your boundaries as an individual you don't want interacting.
- Someone wanted to use the gif for something you express discomfort in your gifs being used in.
- Someone wanted to make sure the original video was sourced correctly.
- Someone was being petty and wanted to piss you off.
This is not the entire list of possible reasons, just ones that either I personally experience or have seen brought up by others. Most, as you can see, are for positive or respectful reasons! One of the ones on the list isn't.
Regardless of the 'why', this situation only holds as much weight as you give it. These things, at the end of the day, are things we do for fun and/or as a creative or other sort of outlet. You have every right to be annoyed, or frustrated, or whatever else you feel about these sorts of things. You are a person with the right to feel.
But, in my personal opinion? You will be far more emotionally and mentally better off once you stop caring about (or, st least, focusing on) why others make gifs from certain sources, and putting that attention back to why YOU decided to start doing this.
Fixating on something means we want to make a board for one character only and we cant justify how many lovecore galacta knight boards that would be lol
We are considering opening requests... but it'd be extremely limited, to our interests only. It's extremely difficult for us to make anything that isn't. As well as only stimboards.
Is it worth it? There isn't many followers here, but we would like to throw the idea out there and see if it is anything anyone is interested in?
