Art vs Artist 2022 ✨

I’ve made quite a bit of art this year, surprisingly. A lot of original character content, but also lots of stuff to sell at cons. I went to Soonercon, Tokyo OK(formerly Tokyo in Tulsa), and Tails and Tornadoes Fur Con all for the first time this year along with a couple other small events. I had a studio space in the Paseo arts district that was fun, but ultimately not the best place for MY type of art lol. So I moved out once my year lease was up. This year was actually not bad when reflecting back on it, however I’m so ready to move out of this city and back closer to my family. My partner and I went to Walt Disney World for my birthday in September where my younger sister was working for her college program and we had a really fun time, but it did seem too short. Despite being vaccinated I got covid from that trip and it really messed me up for almost a month. I have a baby nephew who’s only a month old now, who I’ve only been able to see once, right when he was born. I’m looking forward to visiting family for Christmas and maybe seeing him again, but I’m really worried about an uptick in covid cases. I got very sick last Christmas Eve and even though multiple covid tests were negative, I can’t help but think it actually was covid. Fingers crossed that won’t happen again. Now I’m in con crunch again for Anthroexpo at the end of January, I have so much to make 😵‍💫 will report back at the beginning of the year
