i love you

i wish i could say that more strongly

i wish there were a stronger version of that word

adore is close but has taken an almost fleeting nature in our modern lexicon

to say ‘i adore you’ feels like our love is that of young people, something to say to make up after an argument, disingenuous

how can i encapsulate the feeling of “i can a will build an alter to you, not only that i might worship you but also to that any descendant that may stumble upon my lowly gesture may know that you are some being of incredible reverence and unbounded beauty; i will build a monument to my love for you that will make the Taj Mahal look like a hand-written valentine”

no one word can say that

but i will spend my life, my words, to make sure you understand what no one word can convey

hey everyone as youve seen on my recent post, im officially married!!! the bad news is, my wife had to cut off her whole family because of bigotry. we live in the american south so we arent really surprised but it still really hurts. and with that neither rosemary nor i have much financial support from what family we have left. so if you could feel in your heart to be so generous and help a couple of newly married trans lesbians, we would greatly appreciate it!!

there is no goal, we just need help with costs for our honeymoon (a weekend trip to new orleans; we will take pictures) and helping us start our lives together. whatever you give is appreciated, even if all you can do is repost!!

obsession, obsession is a name ill never forget eyes i see in my dreams a smile etched into my mind

obsession is a woman and i cant stop thinking about her

i lied to you.

you asked if i could remedy these feelings i gained from knowing you. from loving you. these feelings of lazy afternoons and welcome home kisses. feelings of futures and domesticity.

i told you yes. these feelings arent permanent and can be diminished.

i lied.

what i should have said was

whenever i look at you, i see home. i see the warmest smile ive ever had the privilege to witness. the most loving eyes to ever grace my form. i see that gross bead of drool that connected your mouth to my arm one morning. i feel the weight of your head using my arm as a pillow. the pain in my shoulder from not wanting to disturb you. i feel the careful placement of your hand on my chest, so you can feel the rhythm of my breath as you sleep. i feel your soft lips and the curl of your mouth as we both have to pause a goodnight kiss so we can smile and giggle. i look at you and hear my name in your voice. saying the word with such affection that it seems foreign to my ears. i hear your laugh and melt like always. i hear my blood rush in my ears when you kiss my shoulder and hug me from behind. i look at you and feel my heart swell. and my tongue tie. the overwhelming outpour of your love has changed me. my heart is full and you keep adding more. knowing that you exist in this world i thought so cruel, this life i nearly cut short gives me reason enough to die of old age. im sorry but not only are these feelings permanent, they will only grow stronger the more i know you.

trying a new medium tonight. the poem decadence was inspired directly from when i kiss my partner on the neck. and i used different photos of us to draw an outline of that moment. even the kiss mark is from an actual mark i left on them once. its nearly completely traced but i did do some touch ups once i had the idea set. im really proud of it. hope you guys like it too!

looking at you is like looking at fine art im enamored by your beauty entranced by charm i adore you

astonished by the privilege of being close to you yet, like fine art, you arent mine god i wish you were mine

i would display you with pride show you off to whomever came close and have you everywhere i could

i look to your frame, a-slumber and quiet and all my sonnetist mind can conjure is color and warmth laughter and melody

im a balladist behind bars a locked up laureate my binds are love and infatuation my chains, cuddles and kisses
