Tapered this week. Only slow 4.5 km and 4 strides today. Saved my energy for the Fisherman's Strongman Run on the Nürburgring tomorrow. Today was the first time that I could keep my heartrate low since the Hamburg marathon.

Tapered this week. Only slow 4.5 km and 4 strides today. Saved my energy for the Fisherman's Strongman Run on the Nürburgring tomorrow. Today was the first time that I could keep my heartrate low since the Hamburg marathon.
Went running with my sister today. Found out that her hometown has built a calisthenics park. Had to stop there to try out the monkey bars 🙈 and do some pull ups
5 km tempo run, followed by 3 strides. (yesterday) It was pretty sunny, but not really warm. Perfect conditions for a short and fast run.
5 slow km today after a little crossfit workout. My legs felt much lighter than I expected, after yesterday's run.

Some impressions from the Strong Viking obstacle run yesterday. 30 obstacles on 13 km. We started in a group of 10 ppl. We didn't make it in a really good time but we made it together as a team. And yes, i got sunburn 😂
5 km slow run in the woods. Added 4 strides in the end. Tomorrow is my first obstacle run. 13 km w/ 30 obstacles.
4 km tempo run w/ 5 strides at the end today. The weather was really nice again. I hope we'll have a warm summer this year...
Another slow 5 km - today as recovery run. My legs were still sore from sunday's workout, but now it is better. Also my shoulder gets better day by day.
5 km w/ slow pace, but my HR kept rising. But rhe weather was great and I enjoyed the sunshine. I have to deal with a light shoulder impingement since thursday. My physiotherapist showed me some stretching exercises to correct that. And I'm pretty happy it's getting better each day.
Ran 8 km yesterday. My average heart-rate would have been at least 5 bpm lower, a few weeks ago. But that's okay, I did almost nothing for about two weeks. Now I'll start to prepare for an obstacle run next saturday.
First Run after almost 10 days. Wanted to pause only for three days, but then I caught a cold, so I didn't do any sports for a week. Drove to Frankfurt with my sister to my favorite running store. She bought new shoes and some clothes, the we went for a 6 km run to the Main.

Again with my sister at a nearby lake. Legs are a little better now, except for my left shin.
