rewatching ice and itâs genuinely so horrific oh my fucking god.
mulder and scully are one fell first, the other fell harder for the x files
"i just don't like masculine women" literally i'm so sorry for you loss. i hope you get well soon
Hot take aparently but I hate that so much of the txf fandom seem to see scully as like. Trapped in the x files by mulder? When, at least to me, that is very much not the case? Mulder kinda sees it that way sometimes, but its pretty clear to me that shes there willingly. She could have left at any time. If she wasn't also a little insane she probably would have. But shes there because she wants to be. Shes happy there.
Upon rewatching the show its literally the opposite. Mulder on several separate occasions is like "please leave the files you will get hurt and die" and everyone else is like "yes get put of the freak loser basement please girl" and scullys just like "no i will not leave i like the near death experiences and the freak loser"
yes!! dana scully loves the x files!! dana scully loves a mystery, she loves to seek out things she cannot solve. i think both of them are driven by the desire to discover and prove but i think mulder is driven more by his desire to prove, and scully is driven by her curiosity ! i mean obviously she also wants to prove herself right bc sheâs stubborn, but she wouldnât keep going along with his shenanigans if she didnât want to know the true answers. dana scully is a scientist!!! experiments are designed based off of questions, not hypotheses.
oh dana scullyâs inherent curiosity and undying nature to learnâŚohhh i love you dana scully

Wang and Lai (2014)
one thing about me is that i genuinely believe the children are our future
today in "making up ways to help kids decompress on the fly": i had kids cup their hands in front of them and for 1 silent minute, picture a small mouse in their hand. afterwards they got to tell me, one at a time, what their mice did
figured it would be fun to add some quotes from my 4 year olds on what their mice did
"she danced and twisted"
"my mouse went to jump in a pond and then rowed a boat"
"mine ate cotton candy and then he got so sick"
"I let my mouse go and he went home to visit his family"
explaining the x files is like. what if two highly respected and intelligent fbi agents combined their resources, connections, and intelligence together to look for concrete evidence of aliens and monsters, effectively destroying their reputations and putting their own lives in danger in the process? what if they use the proper scientific method to do it? what if they were fucking right?
i love having friends who can communicate like adults it's so cool
imagine being like "hey this made me feel bad" and they're like "oh sorry i'll try to be better about that" and that's all it is
âscientists donât want you knowâ is a phrase that always cracks me up because if you actually meet a scientist they will be shaking and crying like an overstimulated chihuahua with the need to let you know
ok confession i hate to admit i never rly listened to anything from soul punk close enough to know the lyrics but genuinely itâs beautifully written and he has the voice of one of the rare male angels (most are the dolls) and holy pete wentz go fuck yourself fr. like wow. wowwww.
pros of uni

cons of uni:
uni
"only 90s kids remember-" wrong, if you're poor and/or rural enough, old tech and fashion doesn't just disappear when it stops being trendy. We had dial-up until 2012
the human brain is so cool, if you're tired and stressed enough, your brain will go, "don't worry, I got you" and shadows will start moving
and what's the genital situation on the shadows
oh this is my post
