It's been a little over a month since I graduated with my PhD, and nearly 3 months since I successfully defended my dissertation, a critical graphic narrative called X-traordinary Bodies: Queerness, Disability, and Possibility in Marvel's X-Men.

It still feels surreal.

I'm excited to work on new projects, but I'm also afraid they'll never amount to anything, or I'll never finish any of them.
