So I feel like some people don’t have any nerdfighter friends to talk to, or they want one in a different part of the world or even closer to home. Here’s how it’s going to work:

Send me (thatoneoncer) a message with your name, the general area you live (State, Region, even just the country is that’s what makes you comfortable), age, and a little bit about yourself. Fandoms, OTPs, favorite books/movies, whatever.

Also mention if you want a nerdfighter pen pal close or far from you.

Make sure your ask box is open.

I will send you and your nerdfighter pen pal each other’s links and the information you provided me.

TALK TO EACH OTHER (You guys can decide whether to keep it online, or mail each other real letters. Whatever both parties are comfortable with!)

Only a day and a half in and already over 20 people are interested in this project. But, I want to make sure that everyone who wants a pen pal gets one! Even after the initial match up, I’ll be pairing people up as they become interested so it’s never too late to get involved!

Question!

So, I'm thinking of creating a sort of sister blog for this one but with a focus on a romantic partnerships. A nerdfighter dating tumblr, basically. Suggestion

It has been pointed out to me that, sometimes, it is difficult knowing what to initially say to your pen pal. In this situation, I would suggest a Skype call. You and your pen pal can give a mini-tour of your room, show each other favorite things or pets, and really get a feel for each other. Of course, this is only a suggestion.  Also, I would really appreciate submissions from you guys with stories about you and your pen pal. Maybe a jointly made Skype video or something? Be creative! This blog is not only to bring pen pals together, but to document the aftermath of it. Thanks!

It really all depends on when you sign up and if I have someone that fits what you have asked for (location and other factors).
