I noticed one of my followers has been posting a lot about anti blackness in online spaces. I’m not personally qualified to speak on that but I do want to point to the Black American History Crash Course Series I found helpful by NYT best seller Dr. Clinton Smith.

I do not live is the US but I do recognise how much cultural influence they exert (especially in online spaces) so I think it’s absolutely worth a watch if you have the time. Dr. Smith is a great speaker (duh!) and Crash Course is consistently good with their animations. The series covers a lot of ground but individual episodes can be gone through at your own pace and during your free time.

Soooo yeah highly recommend!

just want to say if you haven’t watched the crash course geography video series on youtube consider it required viewing. besides how basic landforms are made it delves into gerrymandering and colonial maps, race vs. culture vs. ethnicity, how location and amounts of food and water and resources drive political policies, mapping religion and diaspora and credits all indigenous groups in the places it uses as examples and encourages you to learn about your local ones. way more practical and informative than my high school class
