just want to say if you haven’t watched the crash course geography video series on youtube consider it required viewing. besides how basic landforms are made it delves into gerrymandering and colonial maps, race vs. culture vs. ethnicity, how location and amounts of food and water and resources drive political policies, mapping religion and diaspora and credits all indigenous groups in the places it uses as examples and encourages you to learn about your local ones. way more practical and informative than my high school class
