Im scared these 3rd generation weddings are going to start coming more and more... First was a 3rd generation Morton wedding.. and then a Forsyth.. Now a Thomas... Mackynzie Duggar isn't far away from 18..

John and I both love kids, and felt like we had capacity for more. But it is also important to us to make sure that we do our part for both of us to be healthy and present for the children we have. We weren’t sure if it was going to be in the cards for me to sustain another pregnancy with my heart condition, and we were not going to just assume that everything would be fine. So we waited and focused on loving the family we had for the past several years, while continuing to pursue whatever we could for my health. I can truly say that we were happy with whatever happened. I knew that if it eventually worked out for us to have one more baby, we would be extra grateful for the miracle, and that if it didn’t, we would be so thankful and blessed with the three we had.

This little excerpt is what led me to believe her as well, they wanted more, but they also wanted to be healthy and present for their current kids, and instead of ignoring the health problem they knew was there, they focused first on the kids they already had and seek real medical help before even deciding to try for another baby, without looking exclusively into have another blessing

So this is my running total. I am counting the known and speculated pregnancies and that’s why jinger and Jeremiah have 3 even though their thirds haven’t actually been born yet. And of course Josiah has 4 for the speculated but, not actually confirmed 4th baby. I have a grand total of 38 so, someone else is pregnant and I’m gonna guess it’s Jason and Maddie

If Nathan okayed Nurie wearing pants on occasion, Jill probably can’t say too much publicly.

I personally think Jill would love to remain in full control over what her married kids do but if she practiced what she preaches about their branch of fundieism (DOUBT) Nathan has the final say on what Nurie does (but he also seems all to happy to accommodate whatever Jill wants)

Yea the fundie mom protocol with that kind of stuff is to defer to a husband's judgment, generally. Jill is such a wild card and hypocrite though it's hard to predict what she'd do in that kind of situation lol. Like I mentioned, I really don't think that's the first time a Rod girl has worn pants for a job like painting, but if it were, and Jill was practicing what she preaches, she wouldn't be in the right to question Nathan's judgement. Fundie mom's only do that over serious issues, like if Nathan had convinced Nurie queer people deserve human rights, it'd be a whole 'nother thing.

Plus Nathan is special case because he's a Keller and the perfect kids of bigot for Jill Nurie. So they could probably get away with things some other kids couldn't.

First I wanna say I'm sorry for the shitty situation you guys are living in and I can't even begin to understand the stress and the fear you have to be under. I live in Europe (Italy to be more specific) and even if I see a lot of worries about how things are turning here, I also know how lucky I am for now (if nothing changes too bad here also following that orange person). Anyway, I wanted to know your opinion about Jill and the last plexus fiasco with the cruise that she was so sure to go to. Do you think she is gonna swipe it under the floor like with the broken courtship? Will she demand a Big Vacation for David (maybe combined with a Valentine's gateway) to make up for it? Will she push Nurie and Kaylee to promote more plexus so that she can qualify for the thing?

I'm torn between being happy that she couldn't go (she didn't deserve it and it was obvious from December she didn't have a chance) and be sad for the kids that will have to deal with her so pissed now instead of having a break from her

i didn't see it but i believe Jill addressed the cruise on her Instagram story and she made it sound like she couldn't go because Plexus planned the cruise poorly? which doesn't make a lot of sense to me lol

but most people think it's just an excuse because she didn't want to admit she didn't earn the cruise this year (even though she didn't go last year..........i guess she wants to be able to brag regardless). it's made a lot of people wonder if Jill's Plexus earnings are starting to shrink, which would definitely affect her family's financial situation (personally i believe she earns the majority of their expendable income).

i think it's very likely that they go on a Valentine's trip to one of those Amish "resorts" Jill loves so much unless it's true that their finances are suffering. i will say, i don't usually comment on looks but Jill has just looked exhausted on her Instagram stories the last few days. it feels like something's going on with her, maybe she's just been extra busy but lately, she's just seemed tired in a way that she usually doesn't.

Yeah, she seems worn out lately, I haven't thought about the possibility that her plexus earnings are shrinking. I wonder how she will spin the eventual shutdown of her wonderful fix-all juice. I have seen people saying that she didn't earn the necessary points in time to qualify even back in December and yet she kept saying she was going. I hope you are right about the new clothes and she just added that for drama effect.

Luna Fay and Ella Mae are my guesses.

I think they are keeping the 'a' at the end for girls. Or, that's what I would do. Since Nora Kate is probably named after Katey, maybe they will name their girls after both mothers. Ella Mae was my atempt for naming after Michelle. So you have the end sound as the first name and in the middle name the 'm'. Katey's mother is Kim, which is way harder to find something with. Luna Kim doesn't flow like Nora Kate and Ella Mae do. And since they already used Kate it's hard not to do something similiar to that.

Mmmm do we know Kim's middle name? They could choose to honor the mothers with their middle names so is a little bit less obvious and maybe "easier"? Also we already have the M kids to honor Michelle so maybe this could be another reason to choose the middle names? Dunno just thinking around
