Leaving his clothes in a pile on the floor while the tub fills, Jim climbs in as the water is still running, hot enough to make his skin flush pink. He stretches out, using his big toe to twist the faucet off before propping a leg over the edge, and closes his eyes. Spock was the last person he had expected to see, and now here he is, sitting in his living room. Jim is a weird mixture of relieved, reassured and nervous. The fact they seem to have put the worst behind them helps ease his mind, even if they haven’t really talked about it. Maybe they will soon, maybe it will take a little longer. Sometimes things just need time to settle. The important thing is that Spock is here. That has to count for something, and together they can work on the rest.

Dat feel when
you discover how to put a stop to your color pencils breaking during sharpening

ALSO, if you own Prismacolors Color Pencils and they keep breaking off no matter how much you sharpen them, they are cracked from the INSIDE.
This can be fixed by putting them in the microwave for no longer than 3 seconds! A little thing my art teacher taught me and has come in handy like heck!
OOOOOOOOOH~!!!

“Most of my career I have played interesting - particularly in my day which was a long time ago - interesting roles that were women doing something other than just motherhood. Sometimes it was just motherhood, which was also just as important. But also it was doctors, lawyers… Certainly that’s how Gene always saw me, as a human being on the face of this Earth with some dignity, which is what I have tried to portray in all of my roles … I think we tend as people to denigrate ourselves often, and the joy of trying to bring whatever that basic wonderful dignified thing is, that is in each and every human being, is very important to me.” - Diana Muldaur

‘MythBusters’ puts the classic insult ‘You throw like a girl!‘ to the test.
The hit show “MythBusters” wanted to see if there’s a distinct difference in the way a guy throws a ball versus the way a girl throws a ball.
They put eight people in four different age groups up against each other to analyze their throws. They had the subjects throw with their dominant arm first. Then they had them use their non-dominant arm because, without practice or training of any sort, it’s sort of like you’re throwing for the first time. This is when the real results showed.
When using their non-dominant arm with zero training, the guys were more accurate, but the girls threw faster.
Thank god these old white dudes are breaking down gender norms

“I don’t really think I am the most beautiful woman in the world at all.” - Jayne Mansfield
“I had an enormous complex about my looks. I thought I was ugly and I was afraid no one would marry me.” - Audrey Hepburn
“I was tall, thin, ugly…” - Sophia Loren
“I don’t think I am a beautiful woman. Ava Gardner is. I think Audrey Hepburn is.” - Elizabeth Taylor
I’m always surprised by the amount of classic actresses that didn’t think they were beautiful. Literally, the list could go on and on
