I'm little confused from last episode, I thought Schnee semblance was hereditary, how comes little asshole can't use it? He is Schnee alright because it comes from mother's side, unless Jacques figured out how to clone himself. I didn't get the feeling it's girls only from story about grandpa Schnee.

He probably just doesn’t know how to use it. Winter said a lot of the aspects of their Semblance required practice which is made obvious how Weiss couldn’t summon and could only do Time Dilation recently. So it’s a skill that requires practice and he’s against even learning how to do it in the first place because he thinks he’s above the need to fight in the first place

Oh this would make a lot of sense!! especially the idea that he can sense people when they have their weapons equipped. I was kinda shocked at the scene where Qrow punches Tyrian, he looks completely stunned, and he doesn’t even dodge, then after Qrow knocks him away, Tyrian just kind of sits there like;

when it felt like he should have been retaliating or fighting back, but he doesn’t he just kinda looks disoriented for a bit, but the second Qrow grabs his scythe, there was what seemed to be an unnecessary close up shot;

as if Tyrian had just found him again.

So i’m starting to like the theory that he has bad sight and can only sense people through their weapons
