There's an in person team building type event that Tiday I'm supposed to go to a team building event as the management representative for our department's "belonging forum" (which is the thinly veiled replacement for the DEI group). But I've been sleeping poorly this week and still need to wrap up writing performance evaluations, which is a giant slog, so I think I'm going to plead nebulous "last minute issues" and bow out. I am pretty active within the group and at try to be a good little team player, but this is not how I want to spend my Friday afternoon.
