Two of the funniest moments in the most recent episode were when Homelander showed Soldier Boy the Supe suit and the āadd eagle.ā I lost it at that. Like
These are just my opinions on things I hope will happen!! Warning for spoilers if you have not watched S5!!
I hope we see Starlight and Homelander fighting. This is LOOONG overdue in my opinion and I would love to see Annieās powers at work while sheās fighting him plus his reaction to her flying (I donāt think weāve seen that yetāat the camp, she flew, but he was blinded so Iām pretty sure he didnāt see).
Something scorched Earth like. Obviously Homelander and Butcher fighting. Maybe not to the death per se, but at least something that causes some destruction like was promised.
The Deep somehow dying in the most comical way possible.
More Marie. Dunno how theyāre gonna make it work in one episode, but hopefully it wonāt be likeā¦ 2 minutes like this one.
Kimiko also kicking HLās ass. It didnāt show she got the power, but considering she didnāt die after all the radiation, Iām pretty sure she did and can now fry the V-1 and V out of his veins. I hope to see her lose it on him for the sake of Frenchie dying. He wasnāt a favorite, but still.
Soldier Boy maybe getting broken out of his glass container and switching sides again to be on The Boys side, thus joining the fight after being put in a glass cage again by Homelander. Maybe heāll get a āheroā death or something? Kindaaa doubt this will happen, but if it does I will be very surprised lmao.
Ashley living!!! Somehow!! She has survived for this long there is no way sheās dying in the final episode. (Fingers crossed). Also really really hope that Annie, Hughie, MM, Kimiko, and Butcher donāt die, but thatās just wishful thinking and I know at least one of them will die. š„² Ryan assisting as well.
I would also prefer to see a depowered Homelander over a dead one. To become the thing he hates and views as weak is a fitting ending for him, in my opinion, but hey, who knows whatāll happen.
Also oh my goodness. Homelanderās voice in the episode King of Hell. Oh my. The growl the growl the raspy voice the laugh the panting the way he talks while in there I was sitting at my computer like
What could have happened in real life that was so bad that Jax went into a panic and immediately slammed the red button without hesitationā¦ the fact that he wanted so desperately to not go back to the real world and would rather risk staying in the circus and risking ABSTRACTION says smth (unless Caine messed with his mind and put false memories there)
Also I have a theory.
So they all say that "hey, I put on a headset and got here," but seeing in the new episode, Caine CAN and DOES mess with their minds. What if it wasnāt a headset? What ifāas seen in the episodeāthere was a bright light like what Jax saw and they somehow got sucked in? Like, what if Caine had the power to (if what Abel was saying was true lol) somehow get into the real world temporarily and pick people out so he would always have someone there with him to make adventures for and to not be alone? What if some bits of truth were sprinkled in with what Abel was saying? Idk. Just a theory, might be dumb but still.
ā¢ Always, always spying on you and tracking you, but tries to be subtle about it. If you're obsessed with technology, he'll give you a bunch of technology. Oh, you're going to a get together? Why not bring your VoxTek watch with you? He made it specifically for you with the features you liked. Aren't you grateful? Going to be out late with friends? You should take your phone with you, baby, what if something happens and you need to contact him? It's just for safety reasons. It is Hell, after all.
ā¢ If you're not obsessed with technology, heāll just plant a small device here and thereāin your home, in your bag, wherever you won't noticeā¦ but he will. Notice, that is. Every. Little. Thing.
ā¢ He has a giant screen to watch several live and recorded videos of you. They also capture every expression you make and he studies them to get a better understanding of you, such as the face you make when you're upset when the local store you go to was out of your favorite pastry, the subtle clench of your jaw when the line somewhere is too long, the way your eyes light up when you speak to the flower shop owner and how you always get a bouquet every other Friday and place it on your living room table, and your reaction to being insulted by a lowly imp that mysteriously disappeared a day after.
ā¢ He's a bit iffy with emotions. He's relatively okay with you showing yours and does what he can to help you out, but his own guard stays up around half the time.
ā¢ Refuses to call you his partner for the longest time ever. Calls you his "partner in business/business partner," again, for a long time, before he finally realizes you're not leaving him.
ā¢ Watching you through all cameras wherever there are cameras. Even when youāre on the couch at home watching TV, he will still subtly try and sneak a glance at you through the TV when you turn your head to glance out the window or turn your back to get a drink. If you doze off, he makes sure the TV stays on and watches you while you sleep, because one, you look cute sleeping, and two, what if someone breaks in? He needs to be able to see you to protect you effectively. He will electrocute anyone that tries to harm you or lay a finger on you unless they're your friend.
ā¢ He may teleport to you while you sleep, and you may wake up on your bed instead of the couch, despite having no memory of getting up to get into bed. Sometimes you think you feel yourself being held.
ā¢ He will flaunt you on TV. "Guess who I have with me today?" He'll spin your chair into view. "That's right! My precious gem!" He can't help but beam. How the hell did he snag a beauty like you?
ā¢ Speaking of television, you get the best of the best technology. TV broke? A new one will be at your place within the hour. Your laptop got a virus? You can bet that a new one is being shipped as soon as he finds out. That watch he got you to conveniently use to check the time and text (and for him to check up on you) that originally cost $9,000? Free for you. When you pointed out that seemed a bit steep for a watch, he replied with, "Look, it's the people's fault for being willing to buy it at that price, not mine," and flashed a smile while taking a photo of you, also with the same watch, but also with his screen. "Whoops, sorry about that! But now I have your shocked face in my photo album. You look so cute!" The temporary spots in your vision from the flash were worth it.
ā¢ He finds what TV shows you like and what else you like and gifts you these things often, including free internet, Wi-Fi, phone plan, and more!
ā¢Ā When he's upset, his screen glitches, yes, but so do the electronics around him. The TV volume goes all the way up, music may blare from your or his phone, the laptop continuously crashes, and pretty much all things technology malfunction or shut off and won't turn on until heās calmed down. If his system fully shuts down, his body will go limp and you need to reboot him because on his screen is usually some kind of error message. He has given you the okay to reboot his system. This has happened more than once and he's always quite disoriented when he comes to on the couch or bed where you usually lay him to reboot him. You don't want to risk rebooting him while he's standing and then him toppling over, despite his reassurance that a topple won't damage him.
ā¢ Jealous, jealous, jealous. He doesn't want to be replaced by anyone. It's a deep rooted fear of his, not that he'd ever admit it out loud for fear of seeming weak. He needs to be the best and at the top.
ā¢ Oh, you're getting a bit too close to another demon? Whoopsies, all of that demon's technology suddenly stops working! What a shame. Now you can't contact them and they can't contact you. If you keep seeing them, things may escalate. Whoops, they fell! Oh no, they broke their leg! Until you either get the message and stop seeing them or something bad happens to them.
ā¢ If someone makes you uncomfortable, he will be very threatening. He'll wrap an arm around your shoulders or place two hands on your shoulders as he smiles at the other demon. His voice glitches.
ā¢ "Do we have a problem?"
ā¢ If they know whatās good for them, they'll leave.
ā¢ Do NOT go near Alastor. At all. The hotel is off limits and you're technically not allowed to go there since Alastor is there, but if you really beg, he'll allow you to. He simply has you take his technology with you, but if he's really concerned, he'll come with you.
ā¢ He reads through every single notification you have. It doesn't matter if it's an email, text, social media, or a private appāhe sees and reads it all. He also listens in on phone conversations and things you say while watching TV, while on your computer, and so on. He'll also deliberately delete any texts, calls, and phone numbers on your phone with people that he doesn't want you talking to, thinks may be bad for you or people that may try to drive a wedge between you, or those he just dislikes. This goes for pictures and social media as well. He'll delete photos you have of people he doesn't like and will also mess with social media by hiding certain posts, photos, and news articles from sources that aren't him or his company. He will sometimes interrogate you about something he finds sketchy or a message he's jealous of.
ā¢ He doesn't shy away from conflict, and he feels comfortable raising his voice at you, but he will never hit you.
ā¢ But that doesn't mean he won't do other things and other means of controlling you. He will shock you through electronic devices. Usually just a little shock of electricity, just to get you to either notice him or remember him if you've been away for too long, but sometimes he'll do it if he's displeased or you did something to piss him off (or he just wants you to shut up and listen to him).
ā¢ Splashing water on his head makes him briefly malfunction. Dumping a bucket of water on his head makes him temporarily shut down until his circuits and internal systems dry or someone dries him. You found this out after doing so once after you got fed up of him shocking you. Let him see how it feels. You had positioned a bucket right above his door so that when he walked through, water would fall on him. You have only done this once, as he installed a camera on the door after and figured out it was you.
ā¢ He will mind control you when it is convenient for him and will gaslight you as well. He'll grab your face and make you look into his eyes if you resist.Ā
ā¢ "What do you mean I was spying on you? No, honey, you've got it all wrong! I'm doing this for a good reason! To protect you. I'm doing you a favor. You should be grateful. I meanāhahaā" the laugh dwindles at the end "āI can't have anything happening to my number one, can I?"
ā¢ Got into a fight an hour back? No, you didn't. He'd scoff, "What fight? You must be imagining things again. Or overthinking. Or overreacting. One of the three. You always were so creative, just miles ahead of me!" Cue the flattery and distraction. "Here, I'll make your favorite dish!"
ā¢ "I don't know why he'd block you like that all of a sudden." He pretends to heave a sigh. "Guess you're just gonna have to cut your losses with him." His claws curl around your shoulder. He sounds disappointed, but if you glanced over your shoulder, you'd see he was smiling ear to ear.
ā¢ Shock.wav introduction includes him letting you feed it. He tells you there's nothing you need to be intimidated by. The shark has taken a liking to you and has now been programmed an additional command from Vox: Protect partner if in danger.
ā¢ Doesn't take you seriously at times. If you bring up a concern, oftentimes he will either sigh and say he's busy or doesn't have time or he'll just pinch your cheek with a smile and say in a baby voice, "Aw, you're so cute!" and then his voice goes back to normal as he continues, "But I don't care about that right now. Try again later." Rinse and repeat. At least, until you get really pissed off and start destroying things, at which point he takes you seriously.
ā¢ He can tell when you're lying by using wires, similar to a lie detector.
ā¢ He gets stressed and pissed easily, especially when it comes to a certain radio demon. Thankfully, being around you helps soothe him.
ā¢ He lets you sleep in his bed whenever he gets lonely and wants to feel validated that someone genuinely likes him. He will also let you do so if you ask nicely, especially if suck up to him a little before.
ā¢ He'll let you in on his plans. He gets very pleased when he tells you them and you praise him for his intelligence and how he can beāand isābetter than everyone else, and he actually listens to your ideas and commentary. Will he still plow ahead and do what he wants? Absolutely. Will he be a little more careful and take what you say into consideration before doing it and while doing it? Absolutely.
ā¢ If you leave or try to without saying goodbye or telling him where you're going, his wires drag you back to him. He will be genuinely offended and hurt that you tried to leave without saying bye first or giving him a kiss.
ā¢ He likes holding you up with his wires as well. For reasons.
ā¢ If he can tell you're tired or your social battery is running low in public or it seems like you just want out of a situation, or if you tell him, he'll zap himself there and zap you two back home and give you whatever you need till you feel better or more like yourself again. Afterwards, he'll tell you not to mention it if you try and thank him and waves you off unless you ask to cuddle. He'll fake protest at first, scoff and say cuddling is for people that are desperate losers wanting a crumb of affection (is it him??? is he the desperate loser wanting a crumb of affection? the world may never know!!!) and then cuddle if you beg.Ā Ā His wires lift the blankets over the two of you. He definitely won't fall asleep during it is what he promises himself (and if you wake him up and ask if he was sleeping, what the fuck, no he wasn't, he was clearly just resting his eyes) but then it's two in the morning and he's out like a light, his screen dim and warm as you lay your head near or on his.Ā
Idk why but the way Alastor says to Vox "I didnāt say not to hurt her, you moronā scratches my brain so well but itās also just straight up hilarious LMAOO. But saying not to lay his HANDS ON HER (in any way) was clever but I kinda figured thatās what he was going for when he struck the deal.
