At age 23, Tina Fey was working at a YMCA. At age 23, Oprah was fired from her first reporting job. At age 24, Stephen King was working as a janitor and living in a trailer.
At age 27, Vincent Van Gogh failed as a missionary and decided to go to art school. At age 28, J.K. Rowling was a suicidal single parent living on welfare.
At age 28, Wayne Coyne ( from The Flaming Lips) was a fry cook. At age 30, Harrison Ford was a carpenter. At age 30, Martha Stewart was a stockbroker. At age 37, Ang Lee was a stay-at-home-dad working odd jobs. Julia Child released her first cookbook at age 39, and got her own cooking show at age 51. Vera Wang failed to make the Olympic figure skating team, didn’t get the Editor-in-Chief position at Vogue, and designed her first dress at age 40. Stan Lee didn’t release his first big comic book until he was 40. Alan Rickman gave up his graphic design career to pursue acting at age 42. Samuel L. Jackson didn’t get his first movie role until he was 46.
Morgan Freeman landed his first movie role at age 52. Kathryn Bigelow only reached international success when she made The Hurt Locker at age 57. Grandma Moses didn’t begin her painting career until age 76. Louise Bourgeois didn’t become a famous artist until she was 78. Whatever your dream is, it is not too late to achieve it. You aren’t a failure because you haven’t found fame and fortune by the age of 21. Hell, it’s okay if you don’t even know what your dream is yet. Even if you’re flipping burgers, waiting tables or answering phones today, you never know where you’ll end up tomorrow. Never tell yourself you’re too old to make it.
Never tell yourself you missed your chance.
Never tell yourself that you aren’t good enough.
You can do it. Whatever it is.

Watch: The contrast is clear, but the amount of love in the video is overwhelming.
Bernie Sanders spoke out yesterday against the GOP candidates’ increased anti-Muslim rhetoric. Are you listening, Ted Cruz?
“I feel we live in a time where it’s cooler not to give a fuck. Not to feel. It’s almost like if you’re in a relationship, and you feel something you’re weak,” Raia says, lunging forward to emphasize “weak.” She makes an effort to overcome that impulse in her music. “It takes strength to feel, and to put yourself out there.”
Moxie Raia’s new mixtape just dropped today (with a track featuring Pusha T). Check out our interview with her now.
boy, i sure enjoy watching sports. when they throw the ball? classic
“Locked in an eternal embrace”, In Mantua, Italy (also the town to which Romeo was banished in William Shakespeare’s play Romeo and Juliet), archaeologists revealed the discovery of a couple locked in a tender embrace, one that has endured for more than 5,000 years.
An initial examination of the couple - dubbed the Lovers of Valdaro - revealed that the man (on the left in the picture) has an arrow in his spinal column while the woman has an arrow head in her side.

A wake up call for Earth
“The debate is over, and the scientific jury is in: Global climate change is real, it is caused mainly by emissions released from burning fossil fuels, and it poses a catastrophic threat to the long-term longevity of our planet.
If we do nothing, the planet will heat up 5 to 10 degrees Fahrenheit by the end of this century. That would cause enough sea-level rise from melting glaciers to put cities like New York and Miami underwater—along with more frequent asthma attacks, higher food prices, insufficient drinking water, and more infectious diseases.“ “Sadly, we now have a Republican Party that is more concerned about protecting the profits of Exxon, BP and Shell and the coal industry than protecting the planet. While fossil fuel companies are raking in record profits, climate change ravages our planet and our people – all because the wealthiest industry in the history of our planet has bribed politicians into ignoring science.”
This is how Bernard “Bernie” Sanders sums up our planet’s most urgent problem and why the Paris Agreement isn’t enough.
Sanders’ campaign states that in the first 100 days of his presidency, he will convene a summit of the world’s best climate experts, vowing to bring together the “world’s best engineers, climate scientists, policy experts, activists, and indigenous communities.” With their help, he’s vowing to put in place policies that would slash U.S. carbon-dioxide emissions by 40 percent by 2030 and 80 percent by 2050.
I’m an Estonian but we are all in this together. If big countries continue their ways, future generations will greatly suffer. We need rational people making decisions, for our only home, Earth, not to be destroyed.
PS: having received a message saying that I blame America (I don’t), I have to say this applies to all of the world. Sanders’ campaign is just a great example of how seriously everyone should take the situation.

We see this very often these days. If you are in favor of capitalism, you are not a socialist – it’s that simple. You can’t in one breath say you want capitalism and then in the next breath say you want the economy and society to be run democratically – those are contradictory statements. This is what ruling ideology does: it takes a subversive concept with an established meaning and molds it to fit into the dominant paradigm, defanging it and depriving it of its power. “Democratic socialism”, welfare capitalism, and social democracy are not solutions to the problems caused by capitalism, as these “solutions” can always be undone by the powers that be. The solution is to ditch capitalism altogether and introduce a democratic society that can actively meet our needs and nurture human flourishing.
We see a lot of graphics showing Bernie vs Hillary on the real issues and their voting record.
But let’s put them all up against a few of the republicans running.
Hillary is nothing more than a Republican wearing Democrat clothing.

When men say, “I only fuck girls with tight pussies.”
Do you know what a tight pussy is?
An un-aroused pussy.
