When do you think kacchan will appear? What have the last episodes changed your mind about?

You know what, I'm still kind of okay with my chapter 385 Katsuki revival prediction lol. At the very least, I do think this still will have to do with timing in the tankoban, so if it's not (around) chapter 385, maybe near the end of the next tankoban.

I assume by "last episodes" you mean "last chapters?" I mean, I guess I can answer both, because the last few episodes of the anime have been great. There are some things I really just can't pick up on until they get animated, like THE PARALLELS BETWEEN ENJI'S AND IZUKU'S HOSPITAL SCENES?

But that's not really what you're asking, I know. And so, I move to the latest chapters: yeah, my opinion HAS changed about something. It's still not what you probably mean, but I'm gonna say it anyways.

Maybe "Katsuki's villain" isn't actually Tomura Shigaraki.

I'm starting to think his villain is actually AFO. Because this setup with Katsuki dying, Izuku arriving, Katsuki not reviving, Izuku leaving the UA stage, and everything that happened with Katsuki vs AFO!Shigaraki, the history between AFO and the Second...it's mighty sus.

AFO and 2nd is obviously important because 2nd was the leader of a resistance against his reign of terror. A random person defying his reign and making him lose pawns and more importantly his sealed brother is something that will cause a crisis on an alleged unbeatable villain as it’s AFO

So there I was scrolling Tumblr in bed this morning, and I came across a classic panel from chapter 322, which I proceeded to stare at in my sleep-addled haze, and it gave me an idea which I threw out there on Discord, and we talked about it, and then, slowly…I figured it out. I wasn’t even trying to figure it out. I was gushing over how much I love chapter 322 and then I accidentally the answer. Pretty much like this:

Theory (not in the colloquial “guess” sense but, like, in the scientific model sense): The Second’s quirk is…under the cut, because holy shit you should really consider if you want this spoiled for you, fair warning, I’m fucking right

The major question on the point. What’s is the purpose of 2nd User’s gauntlets then? It’s making absolutely no sense to have them, more specially when the gesture he does with his blasters after talking to Izuku about his support gears.to handle OFA at 100%. My point here is this, if these are just regular weapons, it opens the question to why didn’t 3rd User have a pair? If both share the same outfit consisting in combat jacket and pants, only holding differences in their support items. What’s the point for 2nd User’s quirk to be Switch?  More specially when the main point here is that 2nd User was a menace capable of taking lives and was planning to kill Yoichi at first. The theory has issues due that narrative point.

With the chapter 349 spoilers out and that one subtle detail that’s likely to be a reveal in disguise, I must now make my case for not only my interpretation of what we just learned but what it means for the rest of the story.
