Got an update for yâall
The most beautiful thing you will look today
3 years it took this girl to turn this piece of truck garbage into her home and it was beautiful. đđź Have a good trip!

When my cousin Olivia was three, she started preschool and became best friends with a boy named Abraham. Most people called him Abe, even then, because Abraham is a mouthful for a three year old and, to most people, itâs the logical nickname.
Not, however, according to Olivia, who decided to nickname him Ham.
No oneâs really sure whether she wasnât totally listening when he was introduced and only caught the last part of his name, or if she decided Abe was too boring a nickname, or maybe she was just hungry, but the nickname has stuck for the last twenty years. Of course, Olivia was and still is the only person to use it.
When they were seven or eight, he decided to get back at her by calling her Olive. That nickname stuck, too, and theyâve been Olive and Ham since. But only to each other. They get highly offended if anyone else calls them that.
Last night was their seventh anniversary, and Abe proposed to Olivia, and she said yes. And how did she announce it on Facebook, you may ask?
People used to tell me âIf you like ham so much, why donât you just marry it?â So I am.
Shout out to Olive and Ham, who are still engaged and adorable and who are planning on getting married sometime next summer

I didnât have the greatest day today but something Iâm so proud of is that I didnât let the bad things that happen ruin my day. I am as happy and in love with the world as when I woke up because I chose not to let the bad things phase me. You have so much power over how you take in stimuli and chose to react to it! Your car breaks down, so what! It happens to most people, donât stress, pull over safely and do what you have to do! Someone yells at you. Know that their behaviour is on them! You donât know whatâs going on in their life and you donât have to take on what they say! Chose what you let effect you and what goes over your head. Chose carefully and grow, be the better person, show more love, compassion. Be the one with the cool head and let life be easier. It doesnât have to be so hard if you laugh it off and flow with it.

My OT mentorâs advice: âWhen you go into a patientâs room, you want to try to be a blank slate. By that, I mean you do not want to bring any baggage in there. Whether your day is going bad or your previous session did not go as planned, you do not want to see a patient thinking about the previous patient or your own issues. Your patient needs and deserves your full care and attention. They need you to be ready. I know weâre human, and this can be hard. But as much as possible, you have to try to drop all your baggage before you walk in, and go in there with a clean blank slate.â
