This is/was the ONLY way to get the Title Legendary Sword Coat Adventurer!
This title was only given out to those who frequently played the spin off browser game Neverwinter Gateway. The Gateway game allowed you to use some of the Neverwinter services such as crafting, playing a fun mini adventure with your companions, and a few other things without playing the actual game on the Arc or Steam client. It was discontinued after a hard battle against botting. You can read the official closure from a Dev post here. Players who played the game prior to it’s closing in 2016 where given an item in Neverwinter called the Gateway Memorial Gift. The official servers for it closed sometime in 2016 so those who played it before it closed got the item that allowed the title.
The gift contained a Mini Apparatus of Gond companion and the Legendary Sword Coast Adventurer title.
The original gift was bound to the account that played the gateway game, until opened via the desired character. The gift could/can ONLY be opened by ONE character and would/will bind the title and companion to them.
 I add the “can” and present tense because I haven’t played in over 2 years and was able to get the gift and use it!
Are pieces of lore collected in the journal account based or per character?
Lore is not account based. It is kept separate per character to character.
The picture I have below is a comparison of my secondary character(1) and my main character(2). As you can see found lore is different with each character, I tested it with my friend and he had the same results.
Some of the lore in game you can get is ONLY obtainable via a certain class or race. So being that race or class will get you a little lore more then others.
We will have it for one month (as a trial period) and we’ve been spending the first day updating our computers so it may be a little while, but I hope to god my account still exists. If it does, when I have spare time after work I’ll start working on this again! :)
I will be loosing internet this upcoming week and do not know when I will get it again for the foreseeable future. I cannot really upload how to get stuff anymore until I get it back. But I will not be removing this blog, when I go to a library or place with wifi I will try to add stuff.

These are new achievements that relate to the Prophet of Salvras inside of Protector’s Enclave. They do not grant a title but doing the quests needed will give you normally hard to obtain items that require Zen to get for free. These items include :a class change token, a grey horse, mass scroll(s) of resurrection, scroll(s) of resurrection, insignia(s)/emblem(s), greater refinement stone(s), armor kit(s), and more.
To get this you need to complete 8 and then 17 deeds. You can get these completed by pressing the campaign button ( the ] key) and complete them. Even without talking to her or Lord Knox you can get these completed and gain most of the items spoken of above.
You can locate the prophet here in Protector’s Enclave, she is behind the door next to Lord Never Ember which is the library for one of the first quests in the game.
Talk to her she will send you off to do quests/skirmishes to complete her visions of the future and to fine tune them. Once complete you can get tokens of Salvras to buy items from her such as a companion, or a health stone.
***Keep in mind that once you buy an item from her SHE NEVER OFFERS IT AGAIN***
Yeti are only found in Icewind Dale and can be farmed in an area where there is a dead Remorhaz. A Yeti will spawn there every few minutes or so, it is an easy way to get the title as you only need to wait for 50 Yeti’s to spawn over a period of time.
What Counts: Anything tagged as “yeti”

This creature is only found in Icewind Dale and is easily found in events in the area. However due to it being an heroic event that needs a large group it may take some time to farm for this title.

Polarbears come in groups from one bear up to three when they are not in events. Polar bears are involved in some of the daily quests in Icewind Dale and can be farmed for the completion of the quests. They are tough and unless you have good gear or have a teammate to help they can be daunting to face.
What Counts: Anything tagged as “polar bear”

Though later on in the game it has a mirrored version of the map called the Drowned Shore you can ONLY get this if you are within the level range of the area! If you are over leveled and cannot do the required skirmish or quests then you cannot complete the Lair or the Complete to get the title and achievements!
Blackdagger Ruins Lairs
The quests that you will need are given around player level 20 or so and can be done up to/ around level 30. So you may level up while in the area and still have a chance to complete the quests before you are to over leveled to get any of the remaining quests or skirmishes.
-Complete: The Sea Caves, the Hidden Mine and Grimstorm Keep.
Blackdagger Ruins: CompleteÂ
Once you have completed the previous quests you can then work on the complete version of the Blackdagger area. The only thing you do not have to worry about is that you can complete the Cragmire Crypts dungeon at any level as it is available to complete and do via the Queue tab ( the k key).
Complete: Blackdagger Ruins: Lairs, Storm the Keep! Skirmish, and the Cragmire Crypts Dungeon.

Gnoll Slayer, though you can find them also in the Neverdeath Graveyard you can find a few here in small groups accompanied by bandits.
You can ONLY get this if you are within the level range of the area! If you are over leveled and cannot do the required skirmish or quests then you cannot complete the Lair or the Complete to get the title and achievements!
Blacklake Lairs
This area is a LOW level area and the needed quests here can only be done before you out level the area. Once you do however you cannot go back to complete the Lairs or Complete if you did not finish it before. It is recommenced as soon as you can to do the Blacklake Terror Skirmish so that you do not have to worry about failing to complete the area to get your title.
-Complete: The Sea Caves, the Hidden Mine and Grimstorm Keep.
Blacklake District: Complete
Once you have finished the lairs part of Blacklake you only need to complete the Blacklake Terror Skirmish, which can easily be done with the queue group that you will be assigned in.

Nashor Slayer
Although Drow appear in this area there is no where near enough to count it towards Drow Slayer so it is recommenced you go elsewhere to find them in larger amounts.
Gnolls count as Bandits for the bandit slayer title if you slay gnolls with the title “Bandit” or both “Gnoll” and “Bandit” in their name. This means you can get both titles quickly if you farm bandit class Gnolls!
They normally come in groups of two in the Blackdagger Ruins area but in Neverdeath Graveyard there is a whole large area of groups of 3-5 Gnolls that you can easily farm along side quests to kill them.
What counts: anything tagged as "Gnoll”, Lackey, Huntmaster, Fang of Yeenoghu, Deathpledged Gnoll, Bloodtracker, Fang, Huntsman, Huntsmaster,
Locations: Blackdagger Ruins, Neverdeath Graveyard, the Rift,
Dungeons and skirmishes:Â Cragmire Crypts, Storming the Keep,
Sharandar is a level 70 area that is only accessible by the Sharandar Campaign. You can get some slayer titles here, most easily the troll and dark fey titles along with a few other achievements as well. Below is a collection of needed quests to complete the Sharandar lair and Complete and some respective titles/achievements you can snag along the way.
Sharandar: Lairs
In order to get to some of the areas needed you will need to progress in the Sharandar Quest by doing daily's and spending the campaign currency to get the required items/unlocks to get to the next area(s).
These quests are repeatable quests that you can unlock by doing daily quests and unlocking areas by using the Sharandar Campaign. The NPC’s offer a verity of quests to do and the ones you will need are randomly selected for the day.
-Complete: Root of the Problem, Trouble Brewing, and Tower of Celadaine.
Most of the quests are only given after doing quests in a certain area. The Root of the Problem is available after doing 3Â Blighted Grove quests, Trouble Brewing is available after doing 3Â Dark Fey Enclave quests.
It may take some time getting the items needed to progress in the campaign but do not be discouraged!
Sharandar : Complete
Complete: Sharandar Lairs and then complete the Master of the Hunt (Skirmish), and Malabog's Castle Dungeon.
Malabog’s Castle Dungeon is insanely hard and it is recommended to have both healers and paladins/ great weapon fighters of high gear level to keep the enemies occupied and heal wounded allies.
Always allow those who can mark to mark targets! This takes the bosses or minion’s agro onto them instead of random people in the group. This makes it easier to defeat them!

Cut the Green Vine
Dark Fey Slayer  Although you can get the Dark Fey slayer title here, it is much easier to get it at a lower level with the Drow method.
Spider Slayer Same with Dark Fey slayer you can get this easier by hunting Drow at an earlier level.
Trolls are large creatures with lots of defense and health. They normally are in small groups of 2-3. They have melee ranged attacks and it is recommended to have a ranged companion or heavy damage one if you are lower leveled and want to fight them.
Although you can find them scattered around the world, you can find larger groups of trolls in Sharandar. However by the time you get to Sharandar you most likely will have the title already from adventuring to level 70.
What Counts: Anything tagged as “Troll”, ice troll, sea troll, Fell Troll, war troll
