I really do wish people would stop treating Salem, MA as this mystical spooky witchy place for witches.
Innocent people were murdered there. Their names weren't cleared for centuries after their wrongful deaths.

hey so was elphaba's and glinda's relationship so insanely homoerotic in the play too or
Growing up and realizing exactly how gay Elphaba and Glinda are is a canon event.
A heartless man, a propaganda machine, an animal rights activist, a brainless prince and a dictator.
This speaks to me on a spiritual level.
When someone interrupts me while I'm writing an intense scene.
This is it. This is my book.
nothing is better than a well-written heavy angst fic
Angst is hands-down my favorite thing to write. Anyways, looking for beta readers for my sapphic Medusa origin story!
Anyways...
I write based on a vibe I got at three A.M., caffeine, and a dream.
Anyone else do that thing where you're a worse writer if you over-plan? Like your brain gets sick of the story while you plan it and then by the time you sit down to write the book all your creative drive is just gone? Just me? Okay.
Hi, everyone! I'm looking for alpha readers for my book, The Anatomy of Vengeance! It's a sapphic Medusa origin story following her life, love, and loss before she was cursed.
Genre: LGBTQ+ Romantasy/Mythological retelling
Word Count: 36000
Page Count: 225
Status: First round of edits
Synopsis:
Medusa: The woman with the petrified heart. But was it always that way?
Medusa of Sarpedon learned early what it meant to be alone. Abandoned by her family, she has lived most of her life that way. However, when the world arrives on her doorstep, she has no choice but to let it in. Medusa ventures away from home, and learns more about life, love, and herself than she ever thought possible. Following the life of one of the most famous figures in Greek Mythology, The Anatomy of Vengeance shows that Medusa was not, in fact, a monster, but a woman who longed to be loved.
If this sounds interesting to you, please don't hesitate to reach out and I will send a PDF copy your way.
Any feedback is much appreciated, as I can take it into consideration for my first round of edits.
If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask!
Thank you to anyone willing to read.
Hi, everyone,
Just wanted to put it out there that I'm still looking for alpha readers for my novel, The Anatomy of Vengeance. It's a sapphic origin story for Medusa. Details:
Title: The Anatomy of Vengeance
Word Count: 34000
Genre: Sapphic Romantasy/Mythological retelling
Status: First round of edits
Synopsis:
Medusa: the woman with the petrified heart. But was she always that way?
Medusa of Sarpedon learned early what it means to be alone. Abandoned by her family, she lived a life separate from the world. That is, until it showed up on her doorstep. As Medusa ventures into the world, she discovers more about life, love, and even herself than she ever could have thought possible. Following the life of one of the most well-known figures in Classical mythology, The Anatomy of Vengeance shows that Medusa was not, in fact, a monster, but a woman who longed to be loved.
If this sounds interesting to you, please don't hesitate to reach out and I would be happy to send you a PDF copy. Keep in mind that the book is in its first round of edits, and will by no means be perfect. Any critiques, notes, thoughts, and guidance are much appreciated, as they can be considered and added during the first round of edits.
Trigger Warnings: Some content, such as some brief, inexplicit descriptions of DV and trauma could be upsetting for some readers
Alpha Reader: For those who don't know, an Alpha Reader is a person who reads a rough draft of a book so that the author can get feedback for later editing. Anything is appreciated.
Thank you to anyone willing to read
The fact that people are bashing Eddie Redmayne’s version of the Emcee are not understanding the point of Cabaret at all
The fact that every single one of his movements is jerky just shows how he is like a puppet. He is not in control of the story, he is not in control of the outcome, he is simply there to tell the tale. He has no autonomy of his own
He is the Master of Ceremonies, he should be moving by himself and making his own decisions but everyone at the Kit Kat Club is fast asleep
The Emcee is the only one aware of how this story ends but he is powerless to change anything about it
i need to follow more musical theater kids!!! pls like/reblog so i can follow uuu
Hi, everyone! I'm looking for Alpha readers for the first draft of my first novel, The Anatomy of Vengeance! It's a sapphic novel following the origin story of Medusa before she became a mythical monster. If this catches your interest, I'd love for you to read it and give me your feedback! Additional information is listed below:

But when the world arrives on her doorstep, Medusa has no choice but to let it in. If this sounds interesting to you, please reach out to me and I will send you a PDF copy. Keep in mind that this is a first draft and will by no means be perfect. Any feedback would, once again, be greatly helpful as I can take it into account in my first round of edits.
Alpha Reader-For those who don't know, an Alpha Reader is one of the first people to read a novel, usually the first draft.
*For those of you particular about timelines, this novel takes inspiration from several mythical people and stories, most of which are inaccurate to the timelines in which those stories actually occurred. Medusa's story also mostly comes from me, as she is only in one myth in which she fills a specific archetype. In order to create a story for her, I had to take creative liberties.
Thank you to anyone willing to read.
