The sleepy town of Edgewater, Massachusetts rarely sees new faces. Whenever the university has a game, thatās an exciting event. The stands fill, the crowd roars, and for a moment, the town seems to come back to life.
The university is the heartbeat of Edgewater, and all students there are held to a prestigious academic standard. Some people in town joke that itās a second high school since so many people from Edgewater decide to go to the school later on. After all, why leave everyone you know behind?
Edgewater was a safe, beachside town, where nothing went wrong. At least, nothing has gone wrong in over fifty years.
Fifty-six years ago, a string of anonymous letters were sent to university students. It was a twisted game of truth or dare, and nobody knew why the students were so easily influenced. What secrets could the university hold?
Each letter was addressed from a girl, Melissa Gale. A student that had died mysteriously in 1963. It was a regular ghost story. One day, the letters stopped coming. Melissaās graduation day. Many thought the spirit was finally at ease, and she wasnāt heard from since.
Until now. One student received a text from a mysterious āM.G.ā and they reported it to the school as potential harassment only for their secret to be told to the entire town.
Now, all of the students are left with one question for themselves. What would you do to protect your secret?
