Day 18: Favorite ghost/monster. 

Benny Lafitte. He was a vampire, but he was one of the good guys. He helped both Dean and Sam out of purgatory. It makes me sad that he didn’t fit in anywhere, and felt better to belong in purgatory.

Benny’s smile fades. A demon. Of course. “I shoulda known. ‘S always the charmin’ ones." He laughs humourlessly. “What d’you want?"

She smiles a little, “I wanted to meet you… officially. We’re even now, seeing as you saved Sammy, but… I’m Ruby. I kept the three of you hidden from the demons while you made your way to the portal the first time round… Dean has a lot of enemies in purgatory… and you don’t want the top 5 demons chewing up your ride out…"

Benny raises an eyebrow. "I didn't even know you lot went to Purgatory." He suppresses a sigh. "You know, chère, I want to believe you--I really, really do. But I can count the number of times a demon's told me the truth on one hand, so...." He trails off and shrugs.
