I am soooo sorry for being absent!
Here's to Mothers â€
Fancy meeting you here((closed RP with Neverleftthattower))
Rapunzel pulled the girl up with ease, noticing she was much lighter than mother - not that she would ever say that of course. As she pulled the girl to the top she smiled, panting slightly, âWell, welcome to my tower? Iâm sorry, Iâve never really had any guests before, but thereâs always a time for everything! What are you visiting the kingdom for? The floating lights?â The lost princess asked her, eyes lighting up. Rapunzel was secretly hoping that this new friend Ariel could maybe help her get there! It would be a lot easier with someone else than just herself and a frying pan.
Arielâs eyes widened as she was pulled up the tower. Sheâd never been so far off the ground before. She looked into the girlâs home with interest. âItâs wonderful!â she said in amazement as she gazed around at all the marvelous paintings that filled the wall space. âI was actually here on royal business, you see my husband is the King of Denmark.â she explained. âFloating lights?â she asked with curiosity. âI knew Corona had itâs own rituals and things but I havenât heard of any floating lightsâŠâ she said as she walked along the walls tracing her fingers along the paintings. âDid you paint these?â she asked.
"Corona? Thatâs what the kingdomâs called?" Rapunzel turned to Ariel, her eyes full of wonder. Denmark? Corona? These names sounded like they came from a dream, especially the second one. Although she was saddened by Arielâs lack of knowledge on her lights, she still smiled and answered her, "Yes! Every single painting in here, some are even overlapped, but Iâm sure thereâs some more room somewhere!" she turned to her newest project, the paint just drying, "These are the floating lights, and its my dream to see them light up the sky. They do every year on my birthday, you see⊠and sometimes I feel like theyâre calling meâŠâÂ
"âŠYou donât know what the kingdomâs calledâŠyet you live here?" Ariel asked as she looked back to Rapunzel with confusion. She then shrugged it off, after all she still didnât know the majority of what things were called her used for. She then turned her attention to the painting that Rapunzel pointed to. "Oh my gosh!" she said as he eyes widened. "I think that oneâs my favorite in here." She then looked back at the blonde girl and smiled warmly. "I know the feeling." she said as she giggled a bit. "Whatâs stopping you from seeing them?"
"I've never left the tower... Mother doesn't want me to go... or meet anyone. She's told me about the darkness in the world, and that I'm one of the small rays of sunshine. A gift like mine, it needs to be projected." Rapunzel said, almost hinting at her special powers, but not nearly enough. "The lights are my dream, but mother's already told me dreams can't come true.. So I don't see the point in believing that they're nothing more than a wish..." Rapunzel's usual sunshine-self had become almost clouded by the negative thoughts fed to her by her mother. It wasn't normal.

Rapunzel bit her lip nervously; she had never had anyone else in the tower before other than mother and Pascal. What if mother showed up? Would she get angry at Rapunzel? Would she hurt this new friend? âI-I guess,â she said nervously and threw out her hair, it went flying out the window turning into a long golden rope. âGrab on, and Iâll pull you up!â She called down to the redhead, securing her hair to the small hook at the top of her window.
Ariel eyed the hair up and down hesitantly. What in the world? Maybe Sebastian was right, was the human world a mess? Ariel shrugged off her worries and looped the end of the hair around her foot. She held on tightly and called up to Rapunzel. âOkay!â she wasnât too sure about the whole thing but what else was she supposed to do? Wonder around the forest until some creature came for her? No thank you.

The Thunderstorm {Open RP}
Rapunzel could hear the rain pitter-patter down the shingles of her tower. The sun had set behind the rainclouds and mother was still not home, and by the looks of this storm, she wouldn't be home until the next day, or when the storm would pass. Pascal had helped her close up all the corners and cracks before the storm had hit full on, and Rapunzel had lit a warm fire in the cobblestone fireplace. It seemed almost as if she would be fine through the storm, until the thunder and lightening started. Rapunzel cowered in her tower, wrapping herself in her securing blonde locks. "Could this storm finish already?!" she said exasperated.

The girl talking seemed nice, her speaking before she thinks attitude reminded Rapunzel a little of herself, âIâm Rapunzel,â she called down. Rapunzel wondered why this girl was here, and how she even found the tower, âMay I ask you how you found me?â the blonde girl asked, playing with a lock of her hair nervously.
"Rapunzel? What an interesting nameâŠ" Ariel thought aloud. "oh! Right! I was visiting the city and decided to explore the forest and wellâŠI got a bit lost I suppose." Ariel laughed to herself as she thought about how ditsy she must sound. "Why is your tower so far away from everyone else?" she asked curiously. "Oh I meanâŠif you donât mind my askingâŠ" she shot a friendly smile up to the tower. "Also, I couldnât find a door other wise I would have knocked instead of calling up to you." she laughed a bit. "Iâve heard itâs rude to lurk in doorways do you mind if i come up?" she asked.
Rapunzel bit her lip nervously; she had never had anyone else in the tower before other than mother and Pascal. What if mother showed up? Would she get angry at Rapunzel? After a moment of silence from the tower Ariel thought maybe no one was home, just then she heard a small voice call out to her. âHi there!â She said energetically as she bounced on her toes trying to see if she could find the owner of the voice. âHow did you get up there?â she asked as she put a hand above her eyes to block out the sunlight. âOh!â she said as she realized how rude she must sound to whoever she was talking to. âIâm so sorry, I didnât mean toâugh, okay letâs start over.â she said as she rolled her eyes at her own stupidity. âIâm Ariel, and you?â she asked.

"Here!" She called out, "Hang on, and Iâll pull you up!" Rapunzel hooked her hair onto her small hook and waited for Belle.
Belle slowly grabbed onto the hair. She left herself be hoisted up by the hair. âWhy is your hair so long? Why do you live up here?â Belle bombarded the girl with questions.Â
"Well," Rapunzel laughed nervously as she finished hoisting the new girl up into the tower, "Mother doesn't like me cutting it, and leaving the tower... but!" the bubbly blonde climbed up and pulled a curtain back revealing her lantern painting, "Do you know what these are?"
Sorry for being absent today! Mother had an abundance of chores for me to do today, and I mean a lot. I'm still doing them!! Sometimes I wished I had more than just one amazing chameleon friend to help me! I'm exhausted!
Goodnight xox!
Goodnight everyone!
After a long day of painting and baking, it's finally time to tuck Pascal and I into bed!
See you all in the morning, 7 a.m. sharp!
Fancy meeting you here((closed RP with Neverleftthattower))
The afternoon sun shone through the large window of her tower, Rapunzel was putting together her puzzle of a blue bird, again. How she dreamed of maybe someday having more than just a few birds fly by her window each day. She wished she had wings, maybe that way she could finally leave the tower and see the floating lights. But of course, Mother would never let her go, no. The world was full of dark, cruel people.
As Rapunzel spent her day doing her normal routine, she was watering her flower beds outside the window when she heard a rustling in the spot of bright vines where Mother always emerged. She sighed in relief, she hadnât spoken to anyone all day, except for Pascal of course. But as the figure emerged from the greens she realized it wasnât mother. âA stranger!â Rapunzel bolted from her window and cowered behind her mannequin.
She heard the strangerâs bubble voice and she slowly peaked out from behind her shield, the stranger didnât sound mean, or evil. âMaybe they need help,â she thought, stepping from behind her mannequin and tip toeing to the window. Rapunzel peered out slowly, taking her time, âH-hello,â she called out shakily. Pascal peered out from his flowerbed to see the situation before falling back asleep in the tulips.

Ariel walked along a small pathway through a bright green forest. She hummed lightly to herself as she walked. With every step she bounced on her toes happily. Soon she lost track of where she was going and before she knew it the path was gone and she was lost. She sighed and looked around. Where...

"Hmm," Rapunzel thought out loud, this girl was the first person she had ever seen apart from Mother, maybe she knew about the floating lights, "Iâm afraid the only entry into here is by hair, I hope youâre not afraid of heights!" Rapunzel bunched up her hair and threw it out the window.
"WâŠWhat?!" Belle was astonished at the girls hair. Why had she never cut it? "Am I supposed to climb that?!"
"Here!" She called out, "Hang on, and I'll pull you up!" Rapunzel hooked her hair onto her small hook and waited for Belle.
Open:
"Yeeeah⊠no. See, I donât dance."
"What?! But, itâs amazing! The jumping, the twirling, the music! You must be crazy Flynn!"
"Yup⊠Thatâs me, Crazy Flynn."
"Well, I'm gonna go dance, what are you gonna do? Pout?"

Rapunzel froze and looked out the window with a softer expression, âLost?â she called back down, âI donât know where the nearest, well, anything is, but mother should be home soon, if you want to wait.â
"I donât think there is anything near,"" Belle laughed. Belle was curious about this girl. Why was she up here in the tower? Now Belle just had to figure it out. "Sure Iâll wait. Is there anyway to get up there?"Â
