Convinced my hubby to join my for a spin class this morning. He had worked it legs yesterday with a friend and he felt pretty stuff going into the class.
I had tried out a pole class with some friends last night and I could really feel it in my arms last night.
This week was fairly active. I attended 2 spin classes and did a round of golf at a par 3 so we walked the course.
I have been really enjoying golf. This is the second time we went out this summer, and we hope to go out more. This course is all par 3s so it is cheaper and faster to get through.
I'm planning on attending a flexibility class tomorrow and another spin class on Monday again. My friend also has been inviting me to hit the gym with her, so I am going to try to join.
Also I just tried this cold brew protein coffee as I typed this and I wish I could un-taste it.
Turf circuit complete!
Last week was busy with my oldest in swim lessons and my hubby working most of the week and weekend. But I did end up with two days in the field which include a lot of steps and heat! I took the kids to the lake on Sat and on Sun we went swimming as a family.
So it was good to get back into a class today! I have another booked for tomorrow evening- a pilates class! Someone in my class warned me it's tough ... so excited for that...

Tried a new gym- they had a great deal on passes, so I decided try it out! There was 5 rounds with 6 stations each round, 50 secs on 10 second off.
P.s it was a 55 min min class- I was hoping to get away with only 4 rounds.
I'm dead. After round 4 I was dead. But somehow made it to the end. I'll need my hottub tonight that's for sure.
My goal is 2 or 3 times a week and one of the times being yoga.
I'll keep you updated.
And I'll do a shorts update sometime this week!

A week of walks ( I'm pretty sure I did 4) and a few lunches. I've been working on morning walks and packing a balanced lunch since starting my new job. The walks are great 25ish min walks and the lunches are ensuring I'm getting some fresh fruit and veg in as well.
I've been weighing in around 224 lately, I did have a dip down to 221 but not recently. I did not complete any runs this week and we are currently have a blanket of smoke in our town. The smoke was higher up today and not noticeable but now it's thick and I don't even want to finish gardening tasks.
These are the summer shorts I'd like to get into this summer and they will be my non-scale progress meter. They are an Old Navy size 14.
I will admit, I'm due for my period any day so I think I might be extra squishy at this time. Lol.

Tomorrow I start a new job, and I'm packing a lunch. I'm not sure what it's all going to be like- I'll update later, but I feel like this should be good. Can you tell which is mine?
Not all mine, but my quick lunch break snack. We had kebobs last night and now they are tacos. Yum.

Called into work but I'm working near by my house so I've stopped for a quick lunch/snack break. I'm working on some leftover salad from supper a few nights ago.
I'm pretty sure I'm not getting called into work today- so I plan on going for a run this morning! I'll keep you updated!

Soooo I hit under 200lbs today! I haven't been under 200lbs since June of 2017!! I am 4 days post partum, my weight at the start of my pregnancy was 215ish. I feel really good about having a healthy (eating wise) pregnancy. More like a lot of portion control. I have been feeling fairly good. I know I look tired here, and fairly frumpy, and my boobs are entirely too big, but I still feel not so bad. I went for a short walk the other day, and that actually tired me out like crazy. I had a baby!! It wasn't so bad 2nd go around! We've been home a few days now, feeling good. Only slightly tired. The birth story is much shorter than with Cass, the little one came fairly uneventfully and almost easily. Still hurt. But recovery 2nd time around is much easier! Today is my due date. I am 40 weeks pregnant. I think I have a few pre-labour symptoms going on.
Extra fatigued.
My lower back is pretty achey.
Looking back at my labour journey with my first, I would predict tomorrow contractions should start. Or maybe tonight?
Either way I am kinda ready to start this one. The anticipation is getting to me.

Feeling deroy in this photo, but guys guys guys, I hit a lowest weight in NEARLY a YEAR! It's not really much lower than I have been, but I lose weight S L O W L Y ! My height was 221. I am at 214.5 now. I had a great workout yesterday, didn't over eat. Went to bed early. And bam. Today was a great weigh in. My goal this week is NOT to hit 215. Maintain this. I'll be working out tonight. And one more time tomorrow before we start our trip. Feeling like I EARNED this lower weigh in!
