"No, I don’t want you to ‘ave to do that. You can take me, I don’t mind."
"You don't look so sure of that," Victoire sighed with a frown, "I won't keep you too long, I promise. Can you walk alright? You're not dizzy, are you?"

"No, I don’t want you to ‘ave to do that. You can take me, I don’t mind."
"You don't look so sure of that," Victoire sighed with a frown, "I won't keep you too long, I promise. Can you walk alright? You're not dizzy, are you?"
"Very well." Ava nodded, spinning on her heel.
She stopped mid-step, glancing over her shoulder. “Coming?”
"Ma'am, yes ma'am," The girl joked, giving the brunette a sarcastic salute before she followed the girl down the hall. "So why're you out and about begging for food, anyway? Did you miss dinner?"
"Where are all the lads and lassie’s at? I think it’s time this school had a party, y’know a little bit of a soirée. Things are getting a bit stale around these parts.”
"Couldn't agree more. Where'd you host it, though?"
Because I - with the entire HP fandom - am also having Teddy x Victoire feels.
"Well then your aim is shite."
"Fine, I’ll get Fred t’take me."
"Yeah, I know. I didn't practice all summer."
"He's long gone, Teddy. Everyone else kind of left after you'd passed out and I said I'd stay with you. I mean, I could go get him if you really don't want me to take you, though. I understand."
"It’s not broken — least I don’t think it is. Maybe you should learn not to aim bludgers at people’s faces."
"In my defense that kind of is my job, aiming them at people's faces, I mean. But I didn't mean to actually hit you, I swear. Just to kind of graze your side and spook you a bit."
"Regardless, we should probably have Madame Pomfrey check you out."
New Era Weekly Prompt #2
Not on me, but have you ever been down to the kitchens? The house elves practically force it on you. I could show you where it is if you'd like.
"Fine, ‘m fine, I swear."
"Teddy you're covered in blood and might have possibly broken your nose. Apparently the bludger also made you forget how to correctly use the word 'fine'."
Smile!
I’d love to come over for Christmas, it’ll be just like old times. Yes, I honestly can’t wait because know your mum’ll be thrilled and I’ve taken a liking to French cuisine.
I’ve been meaning to get to that same load of homework…I call it the “tower of terror”. Seriously, History of Magic is so boring….it’s odd seeing your parents mentioned in it, though.
Mum adores you, let's be real. And her cooking's to die for.
It's ridiculous! Not even a month into school and everyone seems to want at least three feet of parchment on the hardest topics in each subject. Everyone should just go on strike. I know, right? Seventh year's mainly focused on the Wizarding War, so it's even weirder when Binns wants projects on Uncle Harry. Although, I will say it's quite convenient to just be able to owl him and get the information straight from the source with Aunt Hermione's edits.
It really couldn’t have been any worse of a time for it to happen. Trying to adjust himself in the little room there was to move around, when she shifted it just made all the more awkward. “Uh, sorry,” he muttered quickly, his eyes shying away and catching themselves on her lips. She was leaning into him and it seemed unreal. His mind didn’t even have time to think about it before he reacted, leaning in himself with eyes closed. But her lips never met his. “Right, yeah we can.”
"It's fine," She assured him, not meeting his eyes. He leaned in to kiss her as well, and her eyes widened in shock. He'd broken up with her, so there was no way he could seriously want to. He was probably just going with it without truly thinking it through as she had done. Not wanting to part ways and not speak again, she desperately tried to find an excuse to prolong their time together. "Um, I was going to the Great Hall for dinner... Care to walk with me?"
Smile!
Yeah actually I have been. It was more of a holiday study thing though, but I did teach my self.
I know, I’ve been so worried about the N.E.W.T.s and I’m not even in my seventh year! How’ve you been doing with the studying? Merlin, it must be a lot of it.
That's awesome, Alice! You should come over over Christmas break when all my cousins are there; You'd get a lot of practice in.
I'm trying not to think about it right now. Although you know that tomorrow I'll be drowning in homework as usual, most likely.
Teddy stood face to face with her only half listening to what she had to say and most of his attention was focused on her. They were so close it felt a bit stiffing to be honest and he started to feel a bit uncomfortable. Hearing Peeve’s voice, Teddy tried to hide his laughter as Victoire defended them. It did seem like a compromising situation, especially with their history of slipping in and out of closets like this one. “You heard her,” he said after her. “Bugger off Peeves!”
Victoire felt something press against her leg, and tried to shift to avoid what she really hoped was his wand- But she soon discovered that it was indeed not what she'd thought at first and instead stopped moving, knowing that'd make it worse. The poltergeist cackled outside of the door and started singing "Teddy and Vicky are getting quite icky!" as he zoomed away, which only deepened the blush on her cheeks. Quickly trying to change the subject and get out of the crammed space, she muttered, "It sounds like he's gone now... We can-" Her words trailed off as her eyes fell to look at his lips, which were oh so close to hers in the small closet. "We can-" She started again, leaning into him without thinking about it. Just before she stood on her toes to press her lips to his she suddenly realized just exactly what she was planning to do and remembered the hundred reasons why she shouldn't do it. Vic pulled back and quickly fumbled with the handle to the door, pushing it open, "We can leave, now."
Smile!
She’s better now. I’ve been away for a bit to check on her; she’s been sick. And how’s Uncle Bill and Auntie Fleur? I think your mum’ll be happy to know that I’m much more fluent in French now than ever.
Yes but I am. You know. Kind of always stressing.
They're doing alright. Dad's been busy at Gringotts lately and Mum's worried that he's working himself too hard. The usual, you know. Oh really? Have you been practicing, then?
Well don't be. Just relax, Al. It's your sixth year! You don't have to take the N.E.W.T.S. til next year and there's all those free periods for studying. It can seem stressful, but if you plan out your time carefully you'll manage, I know you will.

He ran alongside her down the corridor and turning the corner down another until he felt the tug of her pulling him through a door with her. Ending up in a spare broom cupboard, Teddy stood there a moment trying to catch his breath from the sudden madness before letting out a soft laugh as she hushed him. Cutting it off quickly as he realized it was Vic of all people he was stuck with and he shouldn’t have been having as much fun as it seemed he was. There was hardly room for the two of them in the closet together, and they stood pressed body to body and face to face, the closest they had been to each other in months. “So, uh, how long do you think we’ll be in here?” he asked in a hushed voice as he tried to break the tension.
Vic could just make out enough of the boy's face in the dim lighting to make her heart flutter, as it struck her that this was the closest they'd been in months. "Uh, until Peeves passes us, I guess. It shouldn't take too l-" Her voice was cut off by the sound of the ghoul's cackling with glee, "Oh naughty Victoire and Teddy! Hiding in the broom cupboard, are we?" Victoire blushed furiously, both irritated that he'd heard them and embarrassed that the two of them were caught in what could be interpreted as a compromising situation. "We're not doing anything, Peeves. Now get lost, please."
"You did what?" Teddy asked, wide eyed and laughing. He hadn’t heard of anyone trying to get rid of Peeves even though he was such an annoyance to all the students. It just seemed unheard of. His laugh was cut short when he heard a giggling voice moving from around the corner. "Shite, run!" he shouted, grabbing her by the hand and pulling her along with him down another corridor.
"You heard me," She giggled, her face lighting up as his did, "It didn't work out too well, though." There was the sound of Peeves cackling just around the corner, and Teddy grabbed her hand and pulled her down a smaller corridor to avoid the ghost. As the two kept running, it became clear they were swiftly running out of options, and Vic out of desperation yanked open the door to a spare broom cupboard and dragged them into the small space. "Don't say a word," She whispered, pulling the door shut behind them and trying to not think about how crammed the tiny closet was.
"He’s what!?"
"Chasing people. With bottles of ink. That he's completely prepared to pour on everyone he passes. So you might want to get a move on! I was thinking it'd also be smart to get McGonogall? She's the only one that can scare him, really. Or the Bloody Baron."
