I get there are still fans who like Ashlyn but I agree let’s not be delusional that her social life around soccer has not changed dramatically from where it was two years ago. I think generally people can see she burned some bridges, doesn’t mean no one talks to her but clearly some people probably don’t. It’s quite a stretch to say that Alex Morgan and Ashlyn not interacting means nothing because they’re not “inner circle”. Syd and Alex might not be in each others “inner circle” but Syd just posted a mega post on Alex’s retirement. If Ashlyn isn’t even liking Alex’s post they are clearly not friends and it’s clear why. Ashlyn can fight her own PR battles I don’t think anyone is gonna make any headway in the tumblr anons.

Exactly this! I don't hate Ashlyn and obviously don't know anything other than what's public. I was just commenting on how much her friendship with Alex (and others) has seemingly deteriorated. That's it.

Syd didn't comment on that Lemonade post. Actually no one from Ash and Ali's inner circle (which Morgan was not part of anymore) posted a comment on it. Not Pinoe, Sue or Preath. When Ali did that recap with them Press flat out said her and Tobin still loved both Ash and Ali. But that doesn't fit the narrative huh?

The only assumption I am making is that several USWNT players have distanced themselves from Ashlyn. Which is based on a year of how they've (not) interacted both in-person and online. It's truly not that deep.

Honestly the fact that none of them talk to her really speaks to Ashlyn’s character, you don’t lose all your friend cus you get divorced you lose them if you treat your ex really badly.
