🎶See the light as it shines on the sea? It's blinding. But no one knows, how deep it goes. And it seems like it's calling out to me, so come find me🎶 Can't help but sing myself songs from Moana when taking boat rides in Bohol.
Nuclear launch detected.
🎶We read the wind and the sky when the sun is high We sail the length of the seas on the ocean breeze🎶 Island hopping in Bohol gives off that Moana vibe.
Just a flower in my mom's garden.
Built in 1914 as a Spanish Count’s wedding gift to his Ayala bride, the El Hogar Filipino building (el hogar is Spanish for home) is probably one of the most beautiful pieces of architecture in the Philippines. Even now, in its dilapidated and worn-out form, it is still a wonderful thing to behold; I could only imagine just how beautiful this gem looked in its glory days.
Death mimics life. It fascinates me that even after getting plucked off the vine, spending a few days on the store shelf and a week in my fridge, and then getting eaten, that this grape stalk is still showing signs of life despite being technically dead. Isn't it eerie how this dead thing looks like a young sapling full of life?
Sunrise from my window.
A Manila Bay sunset. Couldn’t decide whether I preferred the warmth of the colored photo or the solemnity of the monochrome (especially with the god/crepuscular rays).
Sunrise at the airport.
Minami Saki’s Aburisushi Five Kinds.
A better photo of Ooma’s Salmon Tartare Aburi Maki.
The amazing food at Ooma.
