This pretty much frames out the meaning of life.

I truly believe we think about Christianity all wrong. I find there are hundreds of Christians starving for something more in life and in their faith. So I have decided to start this blog. I believe that all Christians should be master swords and I am willing to teach them the art of the craft. If you, or you and a friend are interested in learning an in-depth version of Christianity than roll up your sleeves and join in.

Take care. It is easy to forget the great things that God has done in the past that stand in history as testament to the God Who is There. This is why God has charged you to take care and remember those things least you forget Him after He has given you all this good. Do you read the word? Do you search the scriptures for the promises God made or those which He has fulfilled?

But you shall go over and take possession of that good land. Take care, lest you forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make a carved image, the form of anything that the LORD your God has forbidden you. For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

The word to the people of God was, keeping the statutes and commandments of God is the source of wisdom. The world would know God by the people who followed Him, the wisdom that they lived by would be the proof of how great their God is. The bible calls the law a lamp, it is Jesus' understanding of that law that He was called Wise Counselor. Do you seek after wisdom in the same way? Do others see God in the wisdom that leads your live? Do you look to the law to light the way and follow after God?

Deuteronomy 4:5-8

See, I have taught you statutes and rules, as the LORD my God commanded me, that you should do them in the land that you are entering to take possession of it. Keep them and do them, for that will be your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples, who, when they hear all these statutes, will say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’ For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as the LORD our God is to us, whenever we call upon him? And what great nation is there, that has statutes and rules so righteous as all this law that I set before you today?

Anyone can memorize a verse and say what they believe but true faith is what manifests in our actions.

This line could easily be taken out of context but it is important to recognize how it describes who God is. God has not forgotten you, God has not left you, God has gone before you to lead you in the way you should go. The question is, are you following Him? To some degree this is exactly who Jesus is. He did not just die for your sins, He did not just reconcile you to God, He went before you to show you how to live that you may go and sin no more. When we do not follow after Him let us remember this rebuke.

The LORD your God who goes before you will himself fight for you, just as he did for you in Egypt before your eyes, and in the wilderness, where you have seen how the LORD your God carried you, as a man carries his son, all the way that you went until you came to this place.’ Yet in spite of this word you did not believe the LORD your God, who went before you in the way to seek you out a place to pitch your tents, in fire by night and in the cloud by day, to show you by what way you should go.

Deut. 1:30-33

The LORD is for you, are you for Him?
