I may say something controversial. I think ao3 should be ban the AI generated tag altogether. "But that doesn't discourage the use of AI, there's still going to be AI generated stories just untagged" one of the core values of fanfic is that it's fanworks. It's supposed to be creative expression coming from the minds of fans. Because what is the creativity inside a collection algorithmically calculated work? The fact that most people seemed to take either a centrist approach or even condoning is really beyond me.

Adding the democratic process to the games this season was not exactly a subtle metaphor, but it was an effective one.
